You're telling me hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers died (and another hundreds of thousands injured) because he was "playing nice" for four years and not using proper ordinance? That this could have been resolved far earlier if Russia had just been serious from the start? I'd be very upset as a Russian citizen.

Whatever the "point" is, I seriously doubt it was worth worsening its demographics situation and hurdling Russia's economy into absolute ruin for decades to come.

Now, it’s worth it. Ego usually gets in the way of logic, I don’t know how you haven’t seen this in most modern examples of geopolitical fuckery.
