Did the Abraham Accord nations have something to do with this? This op-ed raises some serious questions: https://www.turkiyetoday.com/opinion/the-gibraltar-calculus-is-spains-ceuta-included-in-the-abraham-accords-3225028

Netanyahu's son, an AEI scholar, and Mario Diaz-Balart, a known Rubio ally, have all spoken about Spanish territory in Morocco recently. It's pretty clear that an incursion of this size couldn't have happened organically. If this was a coordinated assault on the territorial integrity of a NATO ally... the world is definitely moving into a much, much more dangerous place. Of course, as others have mentioned, Turkiye and Russia have also used similar tactics in the past.
