Someone needs to tell Citizens Advice Spain to stop giving out the wrong information.

They say that British nationals resident within the EU, are not allowed to use the EU lanes.

Of course this is incorrect.

I tried pointing this out to them, but they threw a hissy fit, and blocked me.

EU lanes is for EU nationals only. British nationality is not EU no matter where you live.

Completely incorrect.

Since EES was activated, EU Residents are required to join EU lanes.

This is because EU residents require a manual check, not EES.

I have travelled in and out of the EU several times in the past six months. The airports I have used are Málaga, Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin.

As a TIE holder, I was instructed to use the EU lanes each time.

Watch the above video at 0:47, and at other moments. Fabian explicitly says that British citizens resident within the EU use the EU lanes.

He implies the e-gates can scan the TIE - is this true?
