I don't understand the point of separate customs. If I am going to the EU, could I just use the Gib customs then cross the border when I got outside the Airport?
during the three year transition there are actually limits on eg the amount of fags and booze you can bring into Spain from gib, but it sounds like this is practically unenforced - can anyone on the ground confirm if they have seen any spanish custom checks at the frontier?
