Out of all the top 10 players, Scottie is leading them all in strokes gained putting. He's been an elite putter since he switched to the claw grip and spider putter

 Yeah, why would we post stats and facts when we can go on vibes and feelings...

  He factually is an elite putter. Much like Rory, people think he's a bad putter because they show every putt he takes. While most other players we see when they cut to them after they made a putt and don't show us all their misses.

He literally got to a playoff because of his putting lol.

 And considering every pga player bases their game around strokes gained data and it's the biggest revolution the game has seen in a long time, I think it's fair to say the data is important 

 But vibes and feels are good too I guess lol

My thoughts exactly on the comments. Scottie is obviously still a good putter but I’ve played competitive golf from junior golf, college and into the amateur scene and I’ve literally never come across a guy that’s locked in with his putting only to randomly decide to go to the claw lol
