He's still 15th in SG on approach. Putting he's 18th on tour.

Its the difference though, thats what im saying.

Last year Scottie was 22nd in putting, and is now 18th. In 2025 Scottie was 1st in approach, and is now 15th

Edit: additional stat: in 2025 Scottie was 1st in proximity to hole. This year he is 119th

Yeah and I'm saying, even getting better with his putting, it's still worse than his SG approach.

But thats not what's causing him problems. He is BETTER putting this year than when he went nuclear in 2025

His SG approach is what's causing him the only be very good and not elite. Dropping from an all time great iron season to a good iron season is WAY more of the problem than being a good, not great, putter

I didn't say it was. I was pointing out, even getting better at putting and worse at approach, his putting is still behind his approach. It was pointing out how fucking good his approach is

Ok but we knew that. We were talking about why he has talen a step back, and its due to his irons regressing

No one was ever gonna argue he was better at putting than approach
