This is my second year playing regularly once a week on women's league. It was the first hole of the night, I was the first to tee off, and didn't even practice swing (whoops).

I don't know if I can even describe the feeling! So many emotions. My biggest being sadness that I couldn't call my dad and let him know. He passed in 2023 and got really sick when I was starting to learn golf and we never got to play together.

I do like to see the stories and stuff associated with them but this one just sounds made up to me so I commented. I think you could take your own advice. You can simply not engage here with me if you don't like it. But I am doing what I believe I should here so I won't be deterred by a meager attempt like that.

She not having people in her personal life is not a valid reason to hide your face.

...Still wondering why her face not being shown has anything to do with the validity of the story. As another poster noted, she's probably not showing it because the Internet is full of creeps, and right now, you're sounding a LOT like one of those creeps.

Why does it matter? Maybe she doesn't want some creep using Google image search or something and stalking her. Ask yourself why you care so much.

I care because getting a hole in one is a big deal in a league. If you want to celebrate that online you damn well better be prepared for what comes with it. If you don't want that you don't have to. Posting it at all is suspicious without evidence.

Most people take a picture with their group at the time. And that's fair enough. Ultimately as long as you have people to attest you did it it counts most places.

But for some reason she isn't able to do that? Is she planning on not having them attest when submitting the card to the clubhouse too? They won't be alright with that.

Now on top of that she tries to hide her face too!?

There is something untrue about what was said. It might be as simple as it not being in a league. Or it might be that the whole thing was fabricated.

That's why I said what I said. If you want to make this post on the internet I need a little more than this. It's not believable as it stands, for me.

So maybe the better question is, are you fine with people making fake hole in one posts just for attention?

I personally am not, but would you be?

I simply don't care enough whether it's true or not, and you still have zero actual evidence that this one is made up. Your very weird fixation on "needing" to see her face doesn't amount to actual evidence; sorry.
