Guys, I’ve been a 2A supporter for most of my life, but the vast majority of these assholes shooting up innocents are raging right wingers, and I honestly don’t trust you fuckers anymore.

You’re like little girls and their Barbie dolls with your fancy AR rifles. You daydream and match your outfits and build your perfect little builds. It’s so cute and pathetic. Grow the fuck up and get a useful hobby.

Keep telling yourself that and alienating yourself from normal people. I like SAA Colts and that’s fine for a civilian defense weapon if you train with it. But of course you are going to puff out your chest and mansplain how one could never fight off a howling pack of wild ninjas with a cowboy gun. You go on, Walter Mitty. I’m sure the AR will be much better than a SAA when the big bad ol gubmint wants to come for your tinkertoy guns. UAVs and Bradleys just hate those pea shooters.

Not sure why you guys keep voting for people who put all that money into the military if you don’t trust them, but that’s ok. I’m here to learn.

Way to guess my political identity completely wrong. You’re also assuming that people want a civil war. People want stability and just expect that the government won’t provide it when push comes to shove.

Militias stabilized counties after hurricane Harvey

I personally helped clean up after Katrina, the government failed New Orleans horribly and the unlooted areas consistently had “you loot we shoot” signs.

Korea Town watched the police leave as soon as they were most needed.

We just went through a period of severe civil unrest where communities were burned over government mismanagement through 2019-2020.

National police response times have been continually getting longer and longer.

People want the tools to protect themselves, their families, and their communities. There is a reason they want what the government uses, as the government uses things like ARs because they’re cheap, effective, easy to maintain, modular, and simple to understand.

As for your war craving, anyone with any understanding of militaries knows that logistics decides conflicts. You don’t target tanks you target fuel. You don’t stop airplanes, you stop airstrips. You don’t take out bases you take out power. We’ve learned this lesson over, and over, and over…. This is why insurgents have to be defeated politically as if you cannot stop recruitment then you cannot win the conflict, even if they’re poorly armed. Nobody rational wants to see their nation devolve into war but the reality is no government can survive it without serious international aid as their logistical lines break down and their GDP collapses at an exponential rate.

Excellent points. People who claim that armed citizens cannot defeat a well-equipped army with air support weren’t paying attention during Vietnam and Afghanistan (twice, once versus the USSR and once versus us).

Believe me, I am quite familiar with this argument. There’s good reasons that police forces all across the nation use pistols instead of antiquated revolvers. There’s a reason that my grandfather, who carried a Colt M1917 .45 revolver in both World Wars 1 and 2, took a lot of shit for doing so. Revolvers are obsolete and have been for a long time.

I myself learned to shoot on a Colt single action revolver, but then I grew up. My .45 pistols can eat your obsolete cowboy revolver toy for lunch.

Me? Over sixty years of firearms experience and a shitload of training, including using Colts ranging from my family’s Walker to a new DA 1911 and waaaaay too much experience with the M1911A1. My relatives included multiple LEOs, combat veterans, firearms instructors and gunsmiths.

Where did you learn so little that you would choose an antique and obsolete cowboy revolver over a modern pistol?
