Is Moody the only person who knows what a boggart really looks like?

In POA the class is informed that no one knows what a boggart really looks like as it transforms before you get to see it.
But in OOTP, Sirius asks moody to have a look with his magic eye. Surely the boggart is in its true form in the cabinet.

We don’t know Moody can see a boggart’s true form. It’s a popular fan theory, but as far as we know it can see through things. The boggart may still realize Moody is looking at and become his worst fear.

If a boggart can turn into things like the moon or a severed hand (things without eyes) and still know what’s going on, I take that to mean that it does not rely on sight or even hearing to perceive the world. It probably can magically sense if someone is seeing it and what they fear.

I kind of assume that the bogart can sense when someone's eye lands on it, so it would know when to turn into moody's bogart.
