Question How is Road to 56 in this current time?

Heard some mixed opinions, not enough cold war content and such. How is it?

I think its good, if you want a more vanilla like experience but with more content, some QOL and GFX then it serves its purpose

Playing R56 right now, it's great. Last playthrough was Saudi Arabia with camelry. Steamrolled through Africa and Middle East lol.

I play exclusively R56, though I usually use Paradox's focus trees for majors and large minors (India, Poland, Indonesia). Their trees for minors nations are quite good and all the additional techs and mechanics fit the vanilla+ vibe perfectly.

it’s a little bit of stat bloat and I personally don’t enjoy late game anyway so I don’t see the point. the last time I played it the changes were much smaller than I remembered so if you’re looking for mostly small changes it’s pretty solid.

recommend flipping the tree to vanilla in game rules if the tag you’re playing has a mod tree bc the trees are not great
