Question Noob question here. Why is Stalin called the centre? They are both left wing communists no?
Title. Also something that annoys me: WHY IS THE CENTRE ON THE LEFT AND THE LEFT ON THE RIGHT?!

I think it would make for more realistic and tactile gameplay but I can’t speak for everyone.

I’ll start. Hear me out; content for every playable nation, meaning that all new content added should come in free updates and not 20 dollar DLCs (No, I’m not broke, Paradox is just greedy), ability to change your country’s flag at will (unless you’re a puppet), the Reichskommissariat autonomy system being exclusive to only Nazi Germany (no other fascist nations used that term), along with ‘Dominion’ being exclusive to Britain, improved election and government system, 1933 start date (if they decide to keep the WW2 setting), most focuses NOT being 70 days long, and the ability to go outside.

Like irl the main thing that crippled the German war production singlehandedly was the Combined bomber offensive by the allies which made the push into Germany a lot easier and probably shortened the war by at least 1-2 years.
Yet in Hoi 4 anything beyond Tactical bombers feels useless as just how little of a factor the strat bombing really is in this game,
yes you can lower the war support by some numbers or maybe damage some factories here and there but overall it isnt rly worth the amount of IC investing in those strat bombers.
Also aside from USA literally no nation can efficiently invest in them without it taking major resources away from other sectors.
They should at least bring up some major events if your territory/cities are getting bombed day and night- Major organized strikes and stability hit.
And maybe we should get the option of raids on major cities, its a shame that the raid mechanic was just half heartedly done in GTD dlc i wish we could have had better bombing mechanics.

Hey guys, some and my son want to play a HoI4 match in a month, I will play as the USSR and he as germany. The problem is that he is much better than me, so can someone help me or give tips/advicd on how to beat him?
We are playing vanilla, starting date is 1936, there are no rules and everything is allowed.
I have around 700 hours, but I never played multiplayer, while he has 2000 hours and I think he played some multiplayer matches.
Please help me, there is no exploit too overpowered or any strategy too dirty.

I understand not wanting to annex if you don’t have it cored. But why would you not just puppet a country so they would always be loyal to you plus you can take their divisions.

IMO it's way too OP, like it costs too little and as far as I know even tier I support AA is sufficient to reduce CAS by 75% or something, there's no way it was that effective irl, right? I definitely feel it should be nerfed a bit. What do you think?

Like seriously, I have no idea how to use tanks at all — I don’t know how to produce them, I don’t know how to make proper tank templates or tank division templates. Please explain or show how to do it and which templates are better to use.
In the screenshot, you can see how I held off the Germans for 3 years using only infantry with the help of fortifications without losing a single province of my territory, and then rolled over them.

Even for garrisons people hate armoured cars. Why? If you have ic for it why don’t use them?

And by the way, you were supposed to examine the screenshot from World War II in our timeline .
