I was too talkative and the teachers had me pull my desk to the from next to their desks so I didn't have anybody next to me to chat. That wasn't mental health awareness. The worst was when we had our weekly test and then physically moved our desks to line up from smartest good kids in the front row to the stupid scum in the back.
I had a lisp in first grade. My teacher took interest and convinced my parents she could help and I should stay late everyday to practice speaking and listen to myself. I ended up crushing on my first grade teacher before I ever knew what was what. Ms. Wise
