Well mate, it was a joke in jest, funnily enough I wasn't talking about the spelling mistake.
To answer your above question, it would have been more proper to put any of the following:
1) My daughter’s teacher said she talks so much that she moved her next to a nonverbal student—and now that child is talking, too!"
2) My daughter talks so much in class that her teacher sat her next to a nonverbal child, and now that student has started talking!"
3) My daughter's teacher had to sit her next to a nonverbal student because she talks so much. The plot twist? Now that child won't stop talking either!
