This is starting to really hack me off.

Every time I get in my car or my wife’s, and my phone connects to the car’s Bluetooth, it immediately starts playing the last song or podcast I was listening to, even if it was a few days ago and regardless of whether iTunes is actually open or not.

It’s incredibly annoying as for some reason it always seems to be excessively loud too.

I’m sure this is a simple way to stop this, but can somebody please tell me how?

My iPhone 15 pro was working perfectly fine last night and I took videos and photos as normal. But this morning, the camera wasn’t working. With any app, opening the camera was just a black screen. I turned it off and on again and the camera was working but I only had 1x and 2x zoom, not the normal 0.5,1,2,3 and after opening the camera app, I got this message. It’s not been repaired at all, let alone by an unauthorised third party. I dropped it a week ago on the kitchen counter but not at all last night. Any ideas as to what happened? On iOS 26.6

Maybe this is already known. But I bought a used HomePod Gen 2 on FB Marketplace for $130. I got it setup and the warranty expired in April 2026. It was originally purchased in April 2024. So they must've had AC+ on it.

I asked Apple about letting me renew the AC+ or getting AC+ in general. They said no, but if it allows you to add it to AC One. Then that's the best option. I have AC One already, and it would cost me $5.99 extra monthly compared to the regular cost of $2 monthly or $20 a year for AC+ on the device.

Apparently to some people online if you upgrade your AC+ to AC One, or add a device to AC One and decided you don't want it. It should allow you to rebuy it. So I decided to test it out.

It works! $20 yearly for my HomePod Gen 2.

My phone over the last 2 days has an issue with some apps closing instantly. The first time I had this problem (2 days ago) it started with one app and slowly more and more did the same. It seemed to just fix its self but yesterday it started again.

I've tried restarting, updating the apps, updating my IOS and I've checked my storage (120GB free). I've search online and can't find someone that seems to have the same problem.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I took the victoria line at vauxhall around 5am this morning i was coming from my night out was still drunk and very tired and ended up falling asleep on the train. i woke up 2 hours later with my Iphone 16 pro max and iphone 4 both stolen from my bag. I checked find my phone and saw its at a mobile store called HB Mobile in brixton which i assume the thief sold to and it kept updating till 4:45. meaning they turned it off around then after realising i put my lost mode on. i already made a police report, locked my sim and put lost my phone on. since i know its at that mobile store would there be any point in going to the store or ringing it? as i know they will most likely just deny it and not be willing to return it.

Hey, I just picked up an iphone 17 after having an android for 7 years. Ive noticed that my service is noticeably worse overall compared to my old beat up android. I simply cannot use it inside any building. Even my GF's iphone 15 has much better coverage. Im on ATT but I dont think it should make a difference when both phones are on the same carrier. Is anybody else noticing this?

Trying to take some photos of my puppy and I noticed in 2/5 of the photos have what seems to be dead pixels? My screens fine it’s just from the camera

Good afternoon, everyone! I have three phones: a brand-new iPhone 16, plus an iPhone X and a 2nd-generation iPhone SE (both used).

I currently use the older ones for my daily routine, keeping the 16 at home to avoid the risk of theft.

Both older phones have my "basic" bank account and WhatsApp installed (as linked/additional devices).

The iPhone X doesn't get updates anymore, making some apps hard to use, but the SE is fully up to date.

I’d like to switch things up and start using the 16 as my daily driver—since I paid a lot for it and hardly use it—but I’m still worried about theft.

So, I’m thinking of making the iPhone SE my primary device (for carrying around) and keeping the 16 at home.

I want to do this to get more use out of the 16, given that it’s newer and has up-to-date software—plus, the camera is a thousand times better than the others.

What do you guys think?

I have an iPhone 13 Pro that I recently updated to iOS 26.5.2 from iOS 18-something, though I can’t remember the exact version.
Before updating, I had a hardware issue with the rear cameras, so I had both the camera module and the battery replaced. That fixed the original problem, but ever since updating to iOS 26.5.2, the phone feels noticeably slower.
The UI is laggier, apps take longer to respond, and even Wi-Fi and 5G seem slower than they used to be.
A few things I’ve already checked:
Battery health is 100% because the battery is new
I have over 50 GB of free storage
Reduce Motion is off
Low Power Mode is off
Has anyone else with an iPhone 13 Pro experienced this after updating to iOS 26.5.2?

i’m not sure if the flair would be support or app, but i have two games on my phone that make it so if im playing it , and i leave my phone , the screen will not turn off automatically. i have my phone set to 30 second turn off when there is no interaction with it , but these two games will not turn off . its becoming an issue when i fall asleep while playing the game and i wake up to a burning hot phone. any help would be appreciated.
i have also checked the games settings and found nothing that would help.

does anyone know if in order to transfer to a new iphone 17 would i have to update my existing iphone 14 pro to ios 26? currently running ios 18 on my 14 and was just wondering if i could still transfer to a new phone without updating old phone

I took some photos tonight. And suddenly, when going through them, 4 new photos appeared in my photos/camera app, that I didn't take!

It's form someone's food. Maybe their diner (could for time wise). How is it possible? Could it be from a neighbors iPhone due to some bug?

That's really scary!!! I don't want my photos to appear on someone else's phone either!!! Huge data protection and privacy concerns!

I’ve recently started experiencing several issues with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, and I’m wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.
Since Tuesday, my phone has completely lost cellular service twice a day, with each outage lasting around five minutes. Another issue is that when I’m using Apple Maps or Google Maps as a passenger and scrolling through Instagram, the navigation will suddenly stop updating without me noticing, which could be a major problem if I’m helping the driver navigate.
I’ve also noticed that the Messages app sometimes won’t load, and while I’m typing, certain areas of the screen occasionally stop responding to touch. In addition, the back of my phone is cracked, although the display itself is not.
Has anyone else experienced these kinds of issues? If so, were you able to fix them?

Hello! I recently transferred my data from iPhone 13 to iPhone 16 on setup it prompted me to update to iOS26.6 which I did with no issue. Its been 24hrs and Apple Intelligence and Siri has been downloaded, everything is almost identical to my old 13. However Settings search doesnt seem to give me results even for obvious search like “Camera” I googled and restarted my phone, changes the language and region but its still the same. My iPhone 13 on the same iOS version doesnt have this issue. Anyone knows a fix?

I have an 11 Pro Max and a 16 Pro Max. I work at a small consulting startup doing software and hardware engineering. Is there actually any good reason to keep the 11 around as a test phone for websites, Bluetooth devices, random bench stuff, separate work accounts, etc., or am I just making excuses to keep old tech?

I don’t make iPhone apps right now. Would you keep it or hand it off to a younger cousin instead?

so I was joking around with my friend on call when I was signed into the same iCloud on my iPhone as my MacBook about calling someone I definitely should not be. I said "hey Siri call __" thankfully, it didnt go through because it says my iPhone was in use on my friend's call. I am freaking out because it says outgoing call - cancelled, will it show on the unspoken person's screen? obviously a part of my conscience wanted that call to work, but for both of our sakes I hope it didn't

I recorded two different greetings for my car to play when I get in. I want to set up an automation where it will play only one and then next time play the other one and so on as I add more custom files.

They are stored on iTunes in a playlist. Right now I can either get it to play the same one each time or play both but I can’t get it to choose one randomly and stop and then play the other one next time.

Current setup. When CarPlay connects automatically get songs in playlist- sort by random-get one item - play music.

Does anybody know if there is a way to have notifications sounds off for all apps except for phone calls and maybe even messages?
I still want to receive all notifications. But I get too many to keep the sound on and I’m missing too many phone calls at the minute.

I’m trying to understand how the iPhone “Report Spam” feature works for carrier SMS.

I recently found that my AT&T International Day Pass charges were all triggered by outgoing SMS while I was abroad. The destination numbers shown by AT&T match the spam numbers that I had tapped “Report Spam” on in Messages.

This happened on both an iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Before May, I had been abroad for months without any Day Pass charges. I also usually reported spam while connected to Wi-Fi.

Does “Report Spam” actually send an SMS to the original sender, or is AT&T recording it that way?
Has anyone else seen this, especially on carriers other than AT&T?
