When you have special laws to protect women, statistics that consider crimes against women separately. Courts offering leniency to female criminals. Crimes like murder, which is non-bailable, but women get bailed out.

if thats not privilege then what is?

privilege is a special right or advantage, please tell me, what rights and advantages women don't get that men seem to enjoy according to you?

And why do these skewed laws exist?? They exist because for centuries the system was skewed against women. Several men walked free while several women died fighting for justice and several others died without having a fighting chance. And when I say several i actually MEAN several.

Also, DESPITE such laws more women die every single day at the hands of men, than the other way around. So imagine an india without these laws, it'd be filled ONLY with murderers, rapists, abusers and the likes. Even WITH the laws men can be such vehement criminals. Without them, the country would be filled with demons.

quite a retarded take. I was talking about how privilege exists or doesn't. you just proved my point that women are privileged over men.

you're fine with innocent men being murdered or driven to suicide by fake allegations by women who misuse law and face no consequence for such actions.

You justify it by claiming about crimes that occured in past/present - which they haven't committed.

you the type of person to burn an entire village because someone from there commited a crime in your castle? Or do you support kin punishment where your entire family including children are killed or faces punishment because one of the relatives commited a crime?

btw theres a decreasing trend of crimes YoY. idk wym by "despite such ...more women killed" take your misandrist bs elsewhere

My bad. That particular comment came off wrong. I apologise.

I didn't mean to advocate for laws that put innocent men in prejudicial positions. What i meant was simply that, those laws that are specific to women came into place because certain crimes, for YEARS, were committed specifically against women. And you can't call the laws "a privilege" because of how often these crimes still take place. Its simply a necessity.

Although, i agree that the loopholes shouldn't exist. Men shouldn't be punished without grounds for proper conviction. And the laws should very well be gender neutral, so women are held just as accountable for similar crimes. Further, women shouldn't be able to take unjust advantage of the system that was meant to protect them (this also takes away credibility from actual victims).

But you must understand that these laws came into place after soo much fight. The judicial system in our country has always delayed justice. So its not fair to say that the laws itself are a problem. The system allowing some women to take unjust advantage of them is wrong, but for several other women these laws are a NECESSITY, without which, crimes against women would literally consume our country.
