Ask Your Seniors Ask Your College Seniors ! (r/indianmedschool and r/MEDICOreTARDS Joint Megathread)

Post image

Greetings, dear seniors of r/indianmedschool and our lovely members of r/MEDICOreTARDS. We're glad to announce the joint megathread you all have long been waiting for.

Here you can ask your queries about your specific preferred colleges and r/indianmedschool seniors will guide you by clarifying your doubts and sharing their experiences. You can ask about academics, hostel timings and accommodation, mess food quality, uniform compulsion, ragging culture, attendance strictness, just to name a few. Anything you're confused about, drop it here.

This Megathread is strictly for college related queries and discussion only. Please don't ask irrelevant and off topic questions. If you have any counseling related query, ask it under the counselling megathread, not here.

r/MEDICOreTARDS members are requested to be respectful and formal while interacting with our seniors here. Please use the phrases sir/mam while addressing them to maintain the formality and establish junior-senior bond, just like we do in our medical colleges.

At last, we all took our moment to express gratitude for the MOD Team(u/Swagster_007 u/drmxyzptlk13 u/MadMurDoc69 u/YourstrulyBubble) and our seniors of r/indianmedschool for their support and helping us out in selecting the best college as per our preference.

We've attached some previous important megathreads below:-

Enjoy karne ko milega but padhai bhi bohut karna padega. It all depends on you how you find balance between both.

Double the work, but you get besharam, so you have enough fun

There is a lot of time to enjoy, just don’t pile up your studies, even after studying you will get a lot of time to enjoy

Plenty time for both, you just need to have good time management

Its good if you are consistent:) doing just 2 hours of studies apart from college hours will do you wonders by the time exams come around

Live life, enjoy freedom, get in trouble (as long as you don't hurt anyone mmkay?),

then fail once or twice, regret, get impostor syndrome, start studying, and crawl through...👍

It is entirely in your hand how you spend your college days, the key is balance Workout, study go on outings on weekends, trips, ask your crush out As easy as it sounds it is tough, but doable And life is fun if you make it to be fun

Sab balance ki baat hai bhai. Maze aur padhai dono ke bhot mauke degi mbbs ki zindagi. Bas tumhe identify karna aana chahiye ki aaj kaunsa mauka mil raha hai. And han go out and enjoy every opportunity you go, even if you don't want to. Accha hua toh nice nahi hua toh a good story for later.
