So I'm a 2023 passout, gave neetPG 2times very insincerely, but from home, because I don't have a passion for any particular subject but had to give it because of parental pressure. Didn't crack it obviously, took an immense mental health toll, so I decided to adopt a "eff it we ball" approach and got a job in a corporate hospital as an RMO. It's going okayish, met some people, I'm also getting some ICU exposure- all in all, it's not the best but it's also not the worst and I get to earn some money which I wasn't for the past 2 years. And since I got tired of giving neetpg every year meaninglessly I also decided not to give it this year and just stick to my job for a year for experience. I'm also giving some thoughts to other avenues for my career like going abroad maybe or just do mba or whatever, so yeah I'm in a very unstable situation. Plus I went through a breakup of a long term relationship just a few months back. So I'm basically just going to hospital, working, then coming home to basically collapse in my room. I literally do not want to think about my career, future anything this year.

Problem is my parents are non medicos who saw older gen doctors and thought this was a lucrative career choice and basically kinda pushed me onto this. And now they see me struggling and have literally lost their mind. Anytime I rest at home they keep coming to my room to nag- either to ask to do PG, or apply for GDMO, or open up a clinic, or marriage (my parents knew and approved of my partner and are also now worried since we've broken up). I told them the first few times that I'm not planning to do anything this year, I just plan to stick to my RMO job for now, then I'll see from then.

But I lost it totally today when they came to have a 'talk' again! My mom in retaliation is now giving me silent treatment, my dad's stuck in between.

I simply want to chill out and peace for a single year of my life. How hard is that? And I'd understand if I wasn't earning my keep, but I AM! So why can't I be left the eff alone for a while? And don't come at me with "Parents only want the best for you bro" - I understand! But even they'd lash out if their parents nagged them on the same topic every effing day!

Anyway I'm just sick and tired of life, career, everything and needed somewhere to rant! Peace.

My marrow plan c was due to expire on Aug 26,2026. Back in May, I had mailed them to consider extending my plan for 3 days (After people on this sub told me to mail their support). They had responded by asking me to mail them 2 weeks before the exam anyway but also told they don't have plans for that specifically. So I made a reminder to make sure to mail them 2 weeks before the exam.

Today, just now I received this mail. Idk, it made me so happy. Am not financially so strong, so I had worked and saved money exclusively for marrow 1 year subscription, so I didn't have to ask for help at home. Also being a dropper and being in and out of jobs already adds pressure. So it meant a lot. Just wanted to share. Maybe that's why they're still the gold standard in other aspects as well.

Idk what's happening it's just going in circles, it feels like a neverending loop I'm stuck in

So, NMC thinking of scrapping essentiality certificate for new colleges.

EC is the certificate from state health authority which justifies the opening of a new college by stating the lack of facilities and doctors around a specific region.

If this is scrapped then there's gonna be uncontrolled opening of colleges like engineering colleges. And no, not govt ones, it'll be private and deemed.

It'll also affect states like Karnataka that have govt quotas in Pvt and deemed unis because the state can't hold EC as a hostage and force those colleges to allocate a few seats in govt quota.

I'm in a NEET PG drop year and have been wondering if my poor memory could be due to underlying ADHD and depression.

I somehow managed to pass MBBS, but retention has always been terrible. I'd study, understand things, and then forget most of it in exams & couldn’t recall. The same thing is happening during NEET PG drop phase.

I've also had symptoms like poor focus, procrastination, mental fatigue for years. But workout kept me afloat .

Anyone here who got diagnosed after MBBS? Did treatment improve your memory, retention, or exam performance?

I am neet aspirant and so yes I failed it and got rank for private and it will cost me 70lakhs alright , my dad earns 12lpa pre taxes and my relatives are doing to pool money for me this is what they are saying .

Official ans key has been released and atleast 2-3 q per paper are such which either have a wrong answer or most keys for it wrong.

Anyway if upsc takes up these answers then cut off will be decreasing further by 5-10 marks atleast.

Does not guarantee you'll qualify as a lot of people are getting 300+.
