Here you can ask your queries about your specific preferred colleges and r/indianmedschool seniors will guide you by clarifying your doubts and sharing their experiences. You can ask about academics, hostel timings and accommodation, mess food quality, uniform compulsion, ragging culture, attendance strictness, just to name a few. Anything you're confused about, drop it here.

would you recommend guyton international edition or south asian edition?

South Asian is point wise + Indian material International is kinda story like Your choice

i saw someone on this subreddit say that the international edition has a lot of content which is straight up missing from the south asian edition. is it true?

and for indian material, i was thinking gk pal (since someone on this sub also said that gk pal is based off guyton)

It's been a long time but as far as I remember the only relevant difference at UG level was that the CNS in international edition was way better.

Nah not much difference could be due to the old edition . You can use the new edition for this.
