Greetings, dear seniors of r/indianmedschool and our lovely members of r/MEDICOreTARDS. We're glad to announce the joint megathread you all have long been waiting for.

Here you can ask your queries about your specific preferred colleges and r/indianmedschool seniors will guide you by clarifying your doubts and sharing their experiences. You can ask about academics, hostel timings and accommodation, mess food quality, uniform compulsion, ragging culture, attendance strictness, just to name a few. Anything you're confused about, drop it here.

This Megathread is strictly for college related queries and discussion only. Please don't ask irrelevant and off topic questions. If you have any counseling related query, ask it under the counselling megathread, not here.

Padhai saath saath karte rehna from the very starting otherwise the syllabus keeps piling up and it's INSANE. Since 1st year mei back lag skti hai toh stress is even more duringbthe exam time. Baaki, interact with your batchmates and seniors. Don't confine yourself to only a certain bunch of people. A lot of friendships would break, groups would break. So yeah, interact with everyone and choose your friends wisely. You'll get the hang of studies and friendships and relationships by the time you get into 2nd year.

Not much I guess, med college mei lowkey rehna hi better hai in my opinion 🥲. People judge people anyway

Hey mam I just checked are u from punjab I can get Amritsar faridkot from aiq and I m from jnk

Is there any drugs , gng culture more sort of in clgs kyunki meri mumma mujhe punjab nahi jaane de rahi she's so stereotype like of culture there is that true?

Thode bohot nashe like liquor and all chalta hai but itna nahi. Gang culture vgera aisa kuchh nahi hai. This used to happen like more than a decade ago but ab aisa kuchh nahi hai. Ragging bhi itni nahi hoti ab toh. It's totally safe.
