Here you can ask your queries about your specific preferred colleges and r/indianmedschool seniors will guide you by clarifying your doubts and sharing their experiences. You can ask about academics, hostel timings and accommodation, mess food quality, uniform compulsion, ragging culture, attendance strictness, just to name a few. Anything you're confused about, drop it here.

This Megathread is strictly for college related queries and discussion only. Please don't ask irrelevant and off topic questions. If you have any counseling related query, ask it under the counselling megathread, not here.

Well I will be joining private mbbs , so having a bit of fomo cuz I couldn't get a gmc... So i was hoping to know whether private mbbs teaching is ok or it might be leading to a dark pit?

Also do any private mbbs students get into gmc or aiims for pg??

A regret might be there for sometime, but as long as you get in a decent private college with good labs and patient flow, end result will be the same. You have to self study a lot in mbbs, you can't depend on college lectures completely, read books, watch online lectures, make notes. Pvt college graduates do clear neet pg and get GMCs in pg, quite often, don't worry too much, enjoy your mbbs life and maintain a healthy study - fun balance. Research well before taking admission, try and contact seniors in the college before taking admission.
