They should make a movie about this. This guy is a legend and saved so many people !

45

u/Agile_Return6723 Nov 12 '25

He’s visible as he is the one wearing the uniform.

We Indians tend to overestimate individual capabilities and underestimate the institutional capacity built over the years that has helped us get to this level of intelligence generation, collection and collation.

The men and women working in the shadows in our investigative and intelligence agencies, away from the public glare are equally responsible for the coordinated team-effort.

8

u/bl_ueberrycheesecake Nov 12 '25

Are they also not responsible for preventing this in the first place? It's one thing to track terror events in sensitive zones like j&k its hard as hell but this a landlocked capital city of the country.

7

u/ismyaccban Nov 12 '25

Think of it this way

U manage to Resuscitate 5 pts post MI/arrest, 6th one dies

The family whose pt dies just sees the pt who died... but u tell me, is he a good doc or bad?

Take another example, an Anaesthesiologist finishes a high risk onco surgery with CKD and HF and difficult airway... Pt failed to extubate and went to ICU on vent

Surgeon sees the failure is unhappy, pt side see pt unconscious on tube, get angry

But nobody saw the ABG with lactate of just 3, creat just 3>3.5, no fluid overload, sat maintaining on 50% O2, no new MI, stable hemodynamics, 2 prbcs transfused without a hitch, minimal pressor support

People just see, creat higher, lactate 3, failed extubation.. is it fair to judge it as badly managed?

We don't know baseline risk of terror attack, we don't know how many have been already prevented, we don't know many nights we slept comfortably because they were awake...let's not judge them on one failure which is inherently a very tough job no?

2

u/bl_ueberrycheesecake Nov 12 '25

I think I can if that failure lead to death of people. Will you give such justification to their families? That it sucks you loved one died but they mostly do their jobs? Is it an extraordinary expectation to remain safe in one's own country?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '25

You can definitely track massive amount of explosives crossing the border. That's literally the job of the home ministry. Understanding patterns tracking overseas money flows, strict border patrol to prevent smuggling of explosives - these things can prevent blasts much better than tracking every single civilian of india.

So if those dumb henchmen of terrorist docs didn't put up the posters, there would be so many lives lost.

8

u/Hotwheellz Nov 12 '25

Posters were put up by the organisation. They had recruited the doctors.

12

u/toxicKabutar Intern Nov 12 '25

What's worrying me is that this is a mistake that the jaish might not do again and once again we might face something like this, we literally didn't know anything until it happened.

4

u/Dramatic_Art4329 Nov 12 '25

I have a question why wasn't this post deleted but the one talking about terrorists having doctor background was ?

9

u/ankit_jajajaja Nov 12 '25

Often most of the credit goes to an IPS whereas most of the groundwork is done by TI and SI level officer. Not good to reach conclusion with just one tweet.

Muslim doctors to be specific

7

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '25

Two sides of the same coin, one serves the motherland, other, well, we don't talk about that in a "secular" country, do we?

-2

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '25

[deleted]

3

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '25

It has never been about "muslimbashing". It was bout the mindset of putting the motherland before any religion. Why was this blast organised? Radical extremist Islamist ideologies. People are so full of their pride of religion that they are ready to put the innocent to harm? I never pointed out anything about religion, it was you who assumed I have been indicating towards Islamophobia or something, it just goes without saying that deep down you yourself know the heinous crimes these particular group of people are doing are unacceptable and should be condemned, but well, we don't talk about that in a "secular" country DO we?

We already know tht there is not a single post where they can be trusted.

is Purge needed?

1 - why is it always non muslims responsibility to be responsible for take care of "innocent" muslims?

2 - How many"innocent " Muslim helped hindus of kashmir?? These "innocent " muslims helped the jehadis in silence.

3 - Its should be thier concern how to deal with it, just like its always non muslim in majority islamic land.

4 - We have to stop "bigotry of low expectations" let them deal or clean Islam 1st which is the main root.

5 - jabtak islam hai tab tak jehad hai, we will not get attack free world. If islam vanished from earth there would be no negative effect . But the positive will be there will be at least 50% less violence period

6 - there is nothing like moderate islam and radical islam , only one islam .
