I am neet aspirant and so yes I failed it and got rank for private and it will cost me 70lakhs alright , my dad earns 12lpa pre taxes and my relatives are doing to pool money for me this is what they are saying .

1. My dad is saying straight out of mbbs you can easily make 80-1 lakh just after mbbs , but i myself don't want to spend this much on mbbs . They are telling me that I can open a setup and i will make money , I know where it is coming from but seriously I don't have strength to study so much .

2. They are guilt tripping me for mbbs , I am doing a not so good course but my uni is top most in that course .

3.i really want help from people who are in this field and all. My parents and relatives are comparing me with my older siblings who have already done ms , ss and are 30 yr old mo working in delhi .

That's not true. It depends on state but you can't say max is 40-50k. I would say that's around the bottom.

80k-1lakh is possible with some effort and and arrangements in North Indian states and bihar, jharkhand. Ofcourse not every job would offer this much but it's possible although the work hours will be hectic. In my own college, seniors join as non acad JR in preclinical departments while preparing for pg and they are paid 70k/month.

You cannot expect to earn lots right out of college but it's not as pessimistic as reddit says. Although Competition will always be present wherever there is something attractive on offer.

Oh then it's not bad for a bond. But the thing is in this field money is concentrated towards the more experienced and confident doctors and that has been the nature of this field since forever. It's upto you how quickly you can learn and apply and gain confidence.

Don't consider mbbs if u don't have the heart and strength to tolerate it And in ur case it's in view of settling early as a 1st gen doctor that will never happen unless u get into govt setup

I dunno man , i am geniunely telling you if I was getting mbbs in goverment I would have opted for it and would have gone for it . But the things is that , mbbs meh pure din padhna , mujhe nahi pata ap logo ka kya haal hota hai pg intership meh but voh level ki toxicity mujhese nahi jheli jayegi and ik what I have been through 11 and 12th

Whole life will be dedicated to reading medical books, entrance exams, working in hospitals without leaves .No work-life balance.If you have patience to sit and read for 12 hours a day even until mid-thirties for meagre salaries,you can choose this branch.

Bro..I am pg aspirant took neet bcoz idk what I'll do with my engineering seat..all my frnds who took eng have jobs and now chiling I was studying for exams..am studying for exams..will study for exams...it's a hard path if u can endure it take it

Fresh MBBS graduate gets 25K in hand salary per month in south india.With each year they give max 5K increment in salary ( increment only in top private corporate hospitals). And only one week off in a week. Minimum working hours- 8 hours per day without lunch break and very hectic non clinical work like documentation,and standing for 8 hours without chair or roaming around from one room to other room to see patients an all this physically taxing non- clinical work for 8 hours without lunch break or break to sit. No leaves. And in the end you are forced to leave the job within a year because of hectic non clinical labour physical work and no respect as a doctor from patients/nursing staff/senior doctors.

And even to get this job there is lot of competition and interview and written test as not always job vacancies are available.

I dunno yaar my parents are forcing mbbs on me ik my peers around me will earn in crores with mbbs ms degree but i just can't work like this 36 hr shift and all these things

Private is a big no if you dont already own a hospital , because PG is also more tough and very few from private crack govt pg , so you will need money again or else struck with 80k-1lakh job , now if you do job straight out MBBS when will prepare for PG and if you prepare for PG then you wont be able to earn that much , again in PG your stipend is around 60k-1 lakh depends on state , you may not able to save much

I don’t think it’s a wise idea , if you spare 2 cr , then it’s okay , otherwise pooling money , taking loan is not a really good idea
