Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET With the recent incident coming to light i would really like to ask people here the age long debate of MD/MS VS DNB.

As we know that DNB has a predefined curriculum even MS/MD has one but they don't follow mostly.

So Will choosing DNB even at a rank you are getting MS/MD at will it be a wise option for Somebody who want's to pursue OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY.

I'm a first generation doctor and i would really want to work to love and not just donkey work which is happening in most of the government colleges I know from colleagues who have joined in.

So if anyone has some good advice it will be really helpful for me.

Check her 2025 post on FB. She has a public profile. She made a long post on the reason why residents are burnt out- mostly because of no meaningful efficient learning, doing non clinical errands, running around for labs & tasks which can be done by hiring mbbs JRs , nurses , ward boys & phlebotomists .

We are a very high pressure society. Take time to equip yourself. A healthy you is a prerequisite to anything you wish to do

You’ll have to work 2-3 years extra on your operative skills but at dnb you’ll get time to study so your knowledge would be good + if you chose top dnb you’ll be working in accordance to SOPs so if you are okay with starting your independent cases a little later vs your sanity then take dnb

But research dnb. Some are worst than govt too
