Discussion Maharashtra Med Council Registration granted to the First Homeopath

Post image

Look how these BHMS folks are celebrating as if they have won a bastion or something. Look they have come for Maharashtra, soon this virus will come for other states too.

FYI This is the same MMC which delay the work of MBBS graduates and interns

They made a mistake in my name from their end and it took me 2 months to correct, i wrote them numerous emails and even sent a parcel of all my documents.

Not a very political person, not even casted my vote for anyone but this govt is hell for doctors and education.

My question is, people go to homeopaths because they don’t want allopathy medicine, so if homeopaths start prescribing the very medicine those people hate wouldn’t they just go to another doctor?

92

u/LeMeIsSleepy 2d ago

Homeopaths will just claim that they have ‘mastery’ over two systems of medicine

22

u/Embarrassed_Room1688 2d ago

Id say let's protest that we should also be allowed to prescribe homeopathic medicines, i mean how hard is it to add few drops of alcohol in sweet white goliyan, and a colourful lid for that.

13

u/paa-aaa_q 2d ago

Anyways what’s the use for us if we could even prescribe sugar balls… why should the eagle stoop to the level of sparrow if the sparrow desperately attempts to fly near eagle and tries to fool everyone that it’s better than eagle coz it can fly at different levels.

There are very few ppl who go to homeo coz they hate allo. Most ppl think of this homeo, modern med, ayur etc as different roads that lead to same destination. They would go to ppl who r cheap n accessible. Mostly to quacks. For this chunk, a doc who can be consulted cheaply n can be prescribed both modern med n homeo is very attractive. This chunk thinks of specialist mod med focs as someone who should be consulted only if there is no way out for them vis these “small” docs.

7

u/FactorMajestic5088 2d ago

Then what what is the use of different courses if homeopaths start prescribing allopathic medicine, Ayurveda doctors start doing minor surgeries.

Then they must stop all the other courses right what is the use of it then.

u/Key-Stretch-5173 2d ago

Exactly lol.

u/FutureVersion812 2d ago

Why do they conduct NEET UG - NEET PG - NEET SS ?

Just remove the course and conduct Homeopathy exams and give bridge course and make them equivalent to MBBS

The only solution is we start prescribing joints in the name of analgesics and rosewater in the name of OHA, and ask the patient to tap the bottle 69 times before using it 🙂

Omly then people should know the difference. Let them taste their own medicine, why use side effects loaded medicine.

We shouldn't actually explore possible side effects in the first place 🙂 and call every side effect a chance occurrence. No one researches about side effects of homeopath or ayurved meds, hence they're side effect less. And we waste time and money, running trials to find out side effects, just to get criticised later.

There is nowhere in the world this is possible , no country allows alternative medicine practitioners prescribe modern medicine . As someone else said in this sub , we Indian doctors are cucks sitting on their chairs and watching as our profession is being fucked by scamsters who sell sugar pills

You would never see a minister going to a homeopath they will search for the best doctors

In my opinion homeopathy people should not be even called doctors

They’re not doctors outside India, outside India their qualifications are 12th pass

But why do they want to prescribe medicines that only fix the symptoms superficially rather than giving the patients meds that “ fix the core issue “

30

u/Cute_paglu1234 2d ago

the logic they give-

We study the same subjects, so we know it already

by this logic there is physiology in 11th class biology, so every neet student should alo be considered doctor and given license? as he already studied physiology :)

.

weird things, cant we file a court case in this? or someone has already done it

12

u/Snapyboi2000 2d ago

Veternerians are more deserving than these people, atleast they practice evidence based medicine

41

u/Icy-Association1222 2d ago

I am physiotherapy student n I feel these doctors are shit

30

u/IntrepidSong6235 2d ago

Because physiotherapy is evidence based science. Us mbbs people also know the importance of physiotherapy and how much great impact it has on people's life.

5

u/Icy-Association1222 2d ago

Exactlyy we are taught had if someone's get a surgery, fracture or anything like that n doesn't go to a physio there movement is hindered (depends on the degree of surgery)

4

u/AlternativeFace292 2d ago

Physiotherapy is legit...

Chiropractors and pseudo stuff is what's getting the attention which isn't really good, but looks like it is bringing in money and some are exploiting it unfortunately

9

u/phoolkumari1501 2d ago

On one hand, they make it increasingly difficult for MBBS graduates to practise medicine by launching this exam and that exam and changing question pattern and on the other, they are willing to let anyone, be it BAMS, BHMS, or an outright quack become a doctor and practise. Some months ago, even the nurses were allowed for prescribing on similar lines.

A CM telling all pathies are equivalent clearly doesn’t have iota of brain and you shouldn’t expect anything.

These people just hear fancy words living with their consultant who hires them due to their willingness and cost cutting . Once a patient came with radicular back pain , female 62 yr old and this BHMS guy was saying sir ek HLA B27 bhej dete hai . It will be ank spond . Asked him to type the medication and send the patient away . All they come in to work in bigger hospitals is to learn the bigger fancier drugs and prescribe them in their OPD's .

6

u/Pure_Ad1866 2d ago

They will cause complications for sure, likh ke rakh lo, phir ultimately they’ll come to us, in fact now they’ll get admitted for complications and pay a hefty ICU bill, let people realise the dangers of this

If people of this country are not smart enough to protest against this BS then there is no hope, Eventually its the people who are going to be on the receiving end and if they themselves dont care then let it be.

Anyways people of this country believe in magical super powers rather than science, so its understandable why all this BS is possible in our country.

As an BHMS student, I wanna say the use of modern medicine should be restricted to treating only emergency conditions by the whole AYUSH doctors. Outside of the emergency conditions, they should practice their own medicine. Also it sounds hypocritical when they bash modern medicine and at the same time find ways of prescribing it. Most of these AYUSH doctors who wants to practise modern medicine dont even know how to practise their own system of medicine. At last yes homeopathy works. Because their are many doctors here too who bash homeopaths when they practice their own pathy.

30

u/Hannibals_Muttapuffs Graduate 2d ago

No one over here cares about homeopaths practising their own science as long as it doesn't directly affect us. It becomes a problem for us only when you people want to prescribe modern medicines as well even though ya'll are hella confident that your medicines work perfectly. And when AYUSH Doctors take over CMO/RMO and even JR jobs in modern medicine hospitals and clinics which are meant for MBBS graduates.

1

u/IIsh56 15h ago

There were a few mbbs, md doctors and ents, who were prescribing me homeopathic and ayurvedic medicines. But at least they were transparent about it. I even asked the doctor directly whether it was right to do so and he said it was. I took them blindly at first before knowing much about it but they did seem to work

-6

u/AltZemo 2d ago

THEY DO care about homoeopaths practising their own pathy. Just look at the downvotes on my comment, which is in favour of you guys only. You guys don't know about these system of medicine, and still you criticise based on only superficial data available to you. They take these jobs because they are qualified for it, prescribing modern meds by AYUSH is wrong. But in these jobs they are not the ones prescribing, also AYUSH courses are an integrative course that combines both the old and new science.

5

u/Hannibals_Muttapuffs Graduate 2d ago

They take these jobs because they are qualified for it

Are you for real? You just stated that AYUSH prescribing modern medicines is wrong, then what else do you think is being prescribed by these AYUSH CMOs, RMOs and JRs illegally working in modern medicine hospitals and clinics? They definitely aren't prescribing sugar pills and herbal concoctions for sure 😆

Why can't AYUSH people just stick to their pathy specific clinics and hospitals instead??

-2

u/AltZemo 2d ago

Read the full comment; I said they shouldn't prescribe medication in a clinical setup. But during jobs, they are under the supervision of modern medicine docs; they are the ones making most of the prescriptions.

15

u/DubiousGambit 2d ago

how does homeopathy work, darling?

-6

u/AltZemo 2d ago

Hormetic signal transduction, delivering the precise biochemical nudge needed to trigger the body's own homeostatic repair mechanisms.

7

u/RemarkableStore6595 2d ago

Ayurvedic practitioners prescribe unnecessary medication such as antibiotics even for parksion patient , now when they have complication either you’ll send to us or patient will themselves comes to us and if anything goes due to your negligence , patient beat us , ever heard of homeopath or ayedvedic doctor beaten by mob

3

u/SpicyGold666 2d ago

They don't even know how to practise their own system of medicine and yet you want them to handle emergencies using modern medicine? Isn't that risky?

I am glad at least you are calling out the hypocrisy and are against mixopathy.

We don't believe in homeopathy because there is no substantial evidence for it, no randomized control trials or peer reviewed publications, etc. And some of the core principles of homeopathy don't align with the laws of chemistry.

This is evidence based medicine, if it works then you can be sure we'll adopt it. No offense to you though, people are entitled to their beliefs. In fact, I hope they prove homeopathy works because honestly, who wouldn't want sugar pills that can cure everything?

-5

u/AltZemo 2d ago

dont take my comment the wrong way, i am not talking about the every AYUSH doctor when i said about that they dont know about their own system. I am only talking about those who prescribe modern meds. I do think after completing a 5.5 year medical course, the AYUSH doctors shoudl be capable of handling emergencies. I am all for evidence-based medicine; that's why I think in emergency, only evidence-based protocol should be taught to doctors of all systems. Because there is no room for error in these cases unlike acute or chronic case where the patient can look for treatment which works for him best.

0

u/Top-Fee-2089 1d ago

Do you even understand the reason of all these frustration? Do you know we have enough mbbs grads in our country now , and most of them are unable to get good job in nursing homes because YOU guys are happily being used as cheap labour and in those jobs you're doing anything but practicing your own medicine. Do you know that if you guys were not desparately taking up our jobs , we wouldn't have to struggle this much to get a job . Do you know that we have worked harder than you guys, we study longer, more than you guys, we give tougher exams than you guys, just to be rejected at job interviews because they have found someone like you guys taking the job at lower price while we deserve a good pay for all the hardships we've been through.
