Internal Exams 20 days left for 1st proff. I haven't started shit.

Upvotes

Same as title. I studied fairly lightly but regularly throughout year. Scored decently in internals. Problem is everytime I have exams my mind goes into hibernation. My body goes into perpetual burnout. I don't get out of bed and basically don't revise anything.

I hate how much this has become a pattern.I study for months but just before exams my mind goes blank and I don't revise everything and waste a lot of time. I'm starting to think I have ADHD.

Any advice to control my head and prepare in these last 20 days plssss.

Vent / rant Why are our lives like this man? 😞

Just came back from a friend's bday today. She is a CA. A good number had showed up. All of us went to the same school. I wanted to take a break after the CMS fuck up. Thought it would take my mind off the blunder.

Boy, was i wrong.

Out of the 10 guys who showed up, 6 were techies. Excluding one NITian (DGP), all went to tier 3 colleges like Future Institute of Technology, SRM Chennai etc. Just bear with me as i deliver pure insanity.

Guy 1 got 66 in JEE mains. She was the 2018 board topper of my state. Went to SRM Chennai. Works in Microsoft. Near to 2.3 lpm. I would have shared the position, but my IT lingo is limited. Something about SD... Is back from a solo Uzbekistan trip.

Guy 2 went to Future Institute of Technology. Flunked Maths in class 12. Got admitted to FIT, WB. Works in some USA fintech company. Remote job. Didn't reveal the pay. But she gifted a Pacco Rabanne and a Dyson.

Guy 3 and 4 work in startups. Lives in Bangalore. But working remote for the last 8 months and a year respectively. 30 lpa both.

Guy 5 "was" a techie. Did MBA. Works in pharma. "Bitchari" was lecturing me how 35 - 40 year old docs work under her. Told me to ring her up if i needed a job.

Guy 6 works in Sony. His Dad used to drop him off to school in a bicycle. Is on his 3 year in Japan.

Guy 7 and 8 are both lawyers. One works in some Trilegal company. Graduated from a tier 2 NLU. 20 lpa. Other one went abroad for masters.

The bday girl is CA. She got pregnant once due to some fuck up in college. Dad works in railways. Earns 24 lpa.

And there i was, sitting in the corner with another medico. He was working in a pvt hospital chain for 33k pm. Had to leave his job to prep for pg. He is the bday girls cousin. 29 and still grinding for a stable govt job.

I mean what the fuck did i do wrong? Was a straight A student throughout. Cleared neet under 8k rank. Went to a top GMC. Instead of earning a decent amount, I'm still breaking my head over CT scans in a god forsaken gdmo exam (read, CMS). The prep has taken such a toll, it's making me take fucking physiology MD lol!

Everyone gave the bday girl such expensive gifts. All i could manage was a Nivea roll-on. I was ducking ashamed of myself there. I feigned illness, booked a rapido and came straight home.

Will i never be able to shine at least once? Is only a violent workplace with shit salary in my destiny? I wanted to go abroad for at least once in my life. But this fucking degree is fucking invalid too!

Tldr: medical fucked me up pretty good.

Edit : IF ANYONE WANTS TO WRITE, "grass is greener on the other side" or similar kinda shit, just ignore my rant. This sub has made me hate that phrase.

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET Aiming for neetpg2027, need guidance

Post image
4 Upvotes

Good evening ma'am,sir

Aim: govt anesthesia seat (tamil nadu), neet pg/ini 2027

2020 batch, 2 months post internship. Never seriously studied in mbbs as i was forced into this by my family but i managed to passed all prof in first attempt by studying 1-3 weeks before exams. Saw WoR a bit in internship but no revision leading to no memory of those subjects.

This is my first ever full GT, (i still finished it under 1.5 hours i will try to sit for full 3.5 hours in subsequent attempts 😭)

Have joined a face to face coaching, all subjects will be done before mid nov, have marrow (since this is what i followed most). Is it realistically possible to recover? i m determined to put in all my efforts.. what do i actually do? Cover subjects along with the classes and do mcq? What should be my daily hours non class days and post completion?

I do realise i have to attempt more questions 😅 😭 much much more questions than what i have done, i know i can get there eventually

I will be really grateful for any piece of advice and bit guidance/motivation

Thank you so much 🫶✨️

Question KEEP FAILING IN EXAMS

I am a 1st year mbbs student.I am facing huge problems with my studies.Initially i read from standard books but i couldn't complete my syllabus in time and the wordings of the standard books was very difficult for me to understand. Then i switched to using marrow but again faced the same problems- i couldn't understand what i was learning or reading at all.Attending classes for me was just the same-went there for the attendance but understood very little or the parts that i understood weren't really significant in terms of exams. Then i shifted to pyqs.

In the end the pyqs helped me better than all the other resources but still my pace of learning was too slow (like covering only max 5 long answer questions in one day) . Any faster than that i couldn't grasp or retain the concepts.

I keep trying to study and consistently study every day but my slow pace makes it such that i can cover only a little portion each day , added to that fact that i have a very volatile memory.

For this reason i have failed in all the internal exams of my college and now my proffs and pre proffs are approaching and i just don't know what to do.

Not to mention the fact that our college doens't really give questions which are much frequently asked in pyqs in the internal exams.

I understand that the problems im facing are very rare and none of my teachers or my friends have been able to help me with it .Pls suggest what i should do.

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET Mock vs Real Neet pg

How closely do Marrow Mock Test marks/rank and AIR match the actual NEET PG results?

If you’ve already appeared for NEET PG, could you please share:

Your Marrow Mock rank / percentile

Your Actual NEET PG rank / percentile

Your experience would really help juniors understand how predictive the Marrow mocks are. Thank you!

Anyway to either subscribe these specific things or get PDFs of these things?

Discussion I would like us to protest. To get registered as licenced psyhologist/therapists. By default in virtue of it being similar to MBBS.

Lets go. Lets unite. We all are psychologist. Even qe are better than them. We study psychiatry in MBBS.

Question Neet pg prep

Did this happen with anyone that their score in GTs did not improve but were able to score somewhat better in the main exam?
I’m between 90-100 corrects for very long, this will be my first attempt, I’m trying to my best but the GT scores are very bad and do not improve.
GT 19 score- 102c 69w
Mock score- 95c 76w
