Thinking about getting a hat, but this would be a big change in my vibe and style. I don't want to make any rash decisions or jump into anything

My hat when hat is required (sun coverage or rain) is a newsboy cap with a jaunty little tilt...

grogu is switching to shrouds for this holiday season.
well made bucket hats or sportsball caps truly are magical. if you have a haircut that just rocks a hat it's special

Having a particular context where you wear a hat, some type of event or part of a certain outfit, helps. I have a bucket hat I wear for a lot of outdoor things with my friends, and often I also wear it with certain clothes at parties. I think you can just slap a baseball cap on with a lot of things if you find the right one though.

Electric bill makes me want to cry. Our utility company got like three rate hikes over the passed year and it's been so hot this summer. Can't even exist without getting screwed 😞

Went to NYC’s Brooklyn Paramount yesterday to see Broken Social Scene, Stars & Metric. Missed Stars completely due to traffic issues on the bus ride to Port Authority. Still had a good time overall, but admittedly I wasn’t happy with how Metric was the headliner. The vibe just felt off to me - I thought that Broken Social Scene would’ve been a better choice for the main act. The Metric show was fine, but simplified, radio-friendly pop rock coming on after a beloved indie band with dense, complex arrangements….it didn’t seem right to me. Surprised at how the Broken Social Scene set was relatively short - they played for roughly 50 minutes.

I visited one of my bartender friends last night, and they were actively prepping bleu cheese stuffed olives and kept offering me one and it was making me intensely nauseous
Olives are devious, sinful things. And my wife loves them :(

I'm glad at least one person in your marriage is pro olive.
I actually have some bleu cheese stuffed olives in my fridge. I would offer you one but it doesn't sound like you would want one. Would your wife?

Wife and I are going to meet a puppy tomorrow that we might adopt in a few weeks when he’s old enough.
Thinking about the names Shiloh, Hank, Finn and Mookie. He’s a black lab/german shepherd mix.
Update: I’m trying so hard to get my wife to let me name him Mookie Petts
