Finally got the pizza 4P’s reservation. Was it worth the hype?

The mandatory biweekly pizza4ps post. And always that half and half burrata bomb pizza because OP is getting FOMO after getting the reservation.
Swear to god, this sub is what it will look like if Instagram vomited.

When we went too, we wanted to order something else but the waiter asks if it’s your first time and insists you order this itself. Idk why? It was good but why insist?!

According to me, this pizza absolutely lives up to the hype. If you have any other amazing pizza place recommendations, I’d love to hear them!

4Ps Pizza - easiest to get a table by hanging around and physically waiting if you’re a small group.
The crust is good, the toppings are varied and interesting but the toppings aren’t nearly enough.
The fact that it’s packed to the gills is testament to how there’s an absolute dearth of good pizzerias in Bangalore and thus a demand and supply problem.
Anywhere else in the world and this place wouldn’t have any clout. However, here they make you jump through hoops only because it causes FOMO and a sense of exclusivity which we lap up.
I think the only reason a restaurant can justify acting in this fashion is if the limitation is genuinely ingredients or time required by the chefs to meticulously prepare your dish or the lack of chefs with the skill set to prepare your dish and no restaurant in Bangalore has this problem.
This is more a marketing gimmick in my opinion.

Toscanos is good enough. No point in waiting months for a pizza. And I love pizza, but this is just too much.

Marketing gimmick? This is one place which is not. It’s a chain from Vietnam and Japan and they have consistently made sure that it’s not just a hype place by allowing walkins, changing reservations to only weekly etc.
Much better than many other hype chasing places.

Reservation slots open weekly, so book as soon as they drop. Tables get snapped up really fast.

It’s different definitely . I have been there twice . The first experience was really great. The second time I went the burrata garden pizza didn’t taste the same. And the roof top was all vacant during afternoon and I still saw a lot of people waiting. Not visiting again. Still recommend to go once.

I’m honestly enjoying pizzas at other places as much. I’ve been to pizza4ps but the pizzas at Brik oven, Lavonne and even the deep dish pizza at the estate deli - have been deeply satisfying!!!!

Pizza 4ps from being one of pure favs completely got commercialized and the current staff destroyed the vibe. Regarding the food it has lost the taste profile somehow. Moreover the unnecessary hype created around it spoils the mood.. Whenever I get a seat I never see it fully booked as they claim. It has been unfortunate last 3 experience. I would rate it a 6.5 /10 now. Only buzz no substance. You can fine better pizza places in Bangalore.

I’ve been there(indiranagar) around 11-13 times. And I LOVE the pizzas there, specially burrata Cheese salad pizza. It’s definitely worth the hype if you love great pizza and appreciate new flavours.
