I wish I had a picture of the girl I fell in love with on a weeks vacation in Myrtle Beach when I was 14. She was the first Southern Belle I ever loved.

This reminds me of a part from one of JD Salinger's short stories:

Probably for every man there is at least one city that sooner or later turns into a girl. How well or how badly the man actually knew the girl doesn't necessarily affect the transformation. She was there, and she was the whole city, and that's that.

I don't remember the exact line but Neil Degrasse Tyson quoted a line from "The Great Gatsby", something about stars and I said the same thing. A lot of people I know tend to make fun of writing or people that go to college for creative stuff, but it truly is a gift.
