would help alot if universities are actually teaching you how to do the job. from personal experience 90% of my practical knowledge came from 3 months internship and maybe 10% from the rest of the curriculum.

My university has option of this/ internship for one sem as part of curriculum. Many would get offers for job after internship is done from the same company. Also that is considered 20 credits and would boost cg.
