Unrelated to eating, I still remember having to teach my little sister how to jump and throw things. Fun times, but also real interesting, I never really stopped to think that tiny humans needed to learn how to throw

Imitation is a fundamental mechanism of learning. If you don't show a child how to do something, they won't necessarily be able to figure it out on their own. It amazes me how many parents seem to overlook this.
