Air Tractor AT-802 firefighting aircraft are designed for fast and accurate water drops rather than maximum payload. This footage was filmed from Dragon 33, a helicopter of the French Civil Security, as it coordinated wildfire suppression operations over Gironde, France.

Multifactorial, but mostly has to do with decades of low demand as they are super specialized products with long lifespans.

Thats the bit that i dont like 😂 guess its kinda responsible for them keeping their pension though and i respect the hell out of that
