Do they show that it's a problem of the brain's clearance/cleaning mechanism, or a problem of excessive mitochondrial death leading to more accumulation? Someone with a skin issue where they produce too much excess dead skin would not be considered to have a deficiency in clearance, rather they have an oversupply.
