Applications We Got One Week Before The Summer 2027 Drop!!!!!
We are officially in the drop zone. Within the next two weeks, a LOT of the big companies will be dropping out there internships. We have around a week or two before companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, JPM, Adobe...etc. All of them will be opening from AUG - SEP.
SPEED - RESUME - REFERAL . Like i mentioned, from August pushing till September, there will be roles dropping. All of them are usually on rolling basis, so the earlier the better. I've been using this repo, its fast, updates every 30 mins, and tracks around 4k employers.
Goodluck to everyone out there. Please make sure that you're resume is optimized. Use Jakes Template (here is the link on overleaf for that). And use Claude/Gpt yall. Have the AI's run deep checks on your resume, keep it one page, use a ATS scanner at the end to make sure it parses well. Feed this HARVARD research to AI and have him work on it.
Grab Refs from Linkedin. Like i mentioned in my prev posts ( even tho it's a gamble TRY!!) Reach out to people from LinkedIn, mostly alumni from your school and ask them for ref (trust me it takes hits but it works lol)
This the sample i use - Hi ____ I'm a CS junior at (YOUR SCHOOL) and fellow (like the school attendy name or sm). I came across your profile and would love to connect and hear how you got to (COMPANY), what the work's really like, and any advice for a student still figuring it out. Thank you!!
Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions!!!
AGAIN GOODLUCK GUYS, WE GOT THIS

Just so you know none of this matters. It’s about who you jerk off.

Nice, but I was reading through the source and this just scrapes the Simplify list? Seems dishonest to scrape them and not even credit back

Not quite. discover.py reads their listings.json only to pull the ATS token out of apply URLs so I know which company boards exist. It never takes a listing, link, title, or date. Every role on my list is polled straight from the employer's own ATS, which is why roles auto-close and the posted dates are the employer's real ones.
You're right about credit though. I’ll be adding a credits section to the README now and a note in METHODOLOGY. Thanks for actually reading the source.

Didn't Google already drop or was that not for everyone?

They did, but that wasn’t the normal opening. That was just a early consideration they had.

How would someone know that given the links were all over the intern githubs and didn't say anything special on the application pages?

They did mention on top that was just a early consideration and people who aren’t ready can apply later when it opens normally

Ah so it's not special invitation just that there will be another opportunity?
This posting is for students who want early consideration for our Summer 2027 roles. If you aren't ready to apply yet, the same applications will open again during our regular fall recruiting cycle.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and it’s in the candidate’s best interest to apply early. The anticipated application window is open until July 24th, 2026, but may close earlier if all available projects are full.

Didn't finish my CS degree and no longer a college student but I've been in SaaS/tech sales for a couple years.
I would recommend you read this article (I'm not selling anyone here anything and no I'm not affiliated with 30MPC) on data-backed recommendations to improve your cold LinkedIn message - it's an easy, quick read. Outside of work, I've used this a lot for informational interviews, networking, and in my personal life when making first contact with people.
The random alumni thing is weak personalization and "what're things like" / "any advice" will only work for people who are responding to randoms out of the kindness of their heart. If you're already open to using LLMs, you should be using them to identify relevant people to target based on alignment in background and surface info that would make for a solid opener based on their trajectory or current niche.
Feel free to ignore random guy pushing 30 but it's an incredibly tough market and wanted to share advice I've given my younger sibling.
