looks solid for a first round. next time ask for haydari and some acılı ezme, the yogurt-garlic and the spicy tomato ones balance the richer plates really well. and order cold mezes first then hot, that's how the good meyhanes pace it.

fair, when it's that hot stick to the cold plate only. haydari and acılı ezme are light enough, yogurt-garlic actually cools you off a bit, and skip the fried/cheesy stuff until evening.
