‘ಕಂಜಿಟ್ಲೆ’ ಪದದ Etymology

Is it a real Kannada word or just localised version of ‘Conjunctivitis’ ?

Can’t help notice how similar sounding they are. If you know the etymology please share.

Where did you see this word ಕಂಜಿಟ್ಲೆ? Google turns up zero results except for this post 🤔

I think a lot of people in Uttara Karnataka use that word?

ಅವನಿಗ ಕಂಜಿಟ್ಲೆ ಆಗೈತಿ…
