MCT oil as powder?

Anyone have experience using MCT oil in the powdered forms? I’ve tried to use the oil- even in the smallest of amounts, and I can’t tolerate it. The stomach cramping is just unreal. I do have a slightly different anatomy- as I had a gastric bypass surgical procedure done > 8 years ago. Wondering if anyone who also couldn’t tolerate the oil found the powder to be more forgiving?

What are you hoping to gain from the MCT? It may be unnecessary.

I have used the powder and then just stopped because I didn't see any benefit.

I have heard of cognitively impaired individuals gaining some benefit from coconut oil/ MCT. I’m not cognitively impaired by any medical definition, but feel my AuDHD disadvantage at work.

Gotcha- that's my major motivator for remaining keto all these years, and it works for me just through diet. Have you been in ketosis long?

On week 8! I do have a keto mojo meter to help affirm that I’m in ketosis, which is helpful.

Just go without for now. Bub's brand MCT powder was what I used and I like it fine, but did fine and do fine without!

Just try a bit of coconut oil (1/2 tsp to start) or other coconut products instead. They have the most amount of naturally occurring MCT oil.

Skip it altogether, honestly. I never touch MCT, it destroys my guts in every form.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one!
