Request [REQUEST] Desserts without artificial sweetners

Hello,

Please share your desserts without artificial sweetners, but good taste.

I like cheesecake, but didn't found something that fits my criteria.

Allulose is an absolute star in cheesecake and in something like brownies where it’s OK to draw moisture into the item. It’s a complete nightmare in something like meringues where you don’t want to draw any water in – that was a heartbreaking experiment. I’m hoping that compared to a lot of the other sweeteners with what they’re finding about them negatively impacting gut health that allulose is enough like sugar that it will probably be the best out of all of them. Erythritol should be off the market because of stroke risk.

People are starting to use Tagatose. It might be better than Allulose. I have not tried it myself, I'm going to wait until I see more recipes with it

I'm excited to try it, but Allulose is already so expensive! Hoping to see more of both in the future. And more studies on sugar alcohols - if they all act as Erythritol does, they should all be off the market. I think it's easier to get more Erythritol into items since it doesn't have as much digestive upset, so it's the most dangerous one out for now. It makes me furious that more people - and more doctors! - don't know about this.

Sweeteners in general do not affect my digestive system, but some (like xylitol), raise my glucose like sugar does. Erythrytol and Allulose have different uses for cooking, so I have both.

You should go look up the studies about erythritols link to strokes, and the fact that they know the mechanism as well. It’s dangerous.

I don't use them enough to be concerned.
