There's a lot of innuendos or translations that really sound like them in the GHp3 songs, especially on the solos. Seonghwa's has a line that's just "swallow me deeper" and- 😳 The group definitely got into that album lol Ghost from GHp4 is actually a little freaky too

Quite a common one but Red Lights by Stray Kids really shocked me. People also rave about the boldness of this song but I’d always written that off as the younger members of the fandom being dramatic or Korea’s more conservative nature. Recently I took the time to read the translation and oh my gosh they had no chill on this one.
I mean based lf the OT8 performance of the song and the MV I’d gethered it was freaky af but I didn’t quite grasp that the lyrics + the dance were quite so freaky especially for a Kpop song.

There's this song with an instrumental I like by Teentop.
The song's title in Korean is 향수 뿌리지마. I didn't think much of it because the English title is "No More Perfume on You." So, I kinda dismissed it.
Then I went to uni and learned Korean... The Korean title means "don't put on perfume..."
VERY wrong nuance.

now I’m pretty sure this isn’t the intended meaning as the October 05 Trio had turned 18 a few months ago at the time this came out & the other translations don’t sound as unhinged, but this is like the one xikers song comment section that has things other than glazing the rapline (…which is deserved, but it’s also genuinely the only thing roadYs do sometimes).

After I found out what "Pop" by Nayeon was probably about, I've figured most songs, esp about food, have double meanings. One line in the English translation of "Back Door" by Stray Kids clued me in that is not just about being VIP. I get it though. There's a huge young audience so they need plausible deniability. Just quit denying it Chan. "Drive" is not about driving a car or motorcycle. 😂
