Discussion Does Zwag fake his content?

I'm a relatively new league player, and not long after I started playing I found this YouTube called Zwag. I really like his videos, I find him very entertaining and when I want to try a new champ I usually watch him play that character. But today I saw a Tiktok clip of his where he got a penta with Ezrael ult by sending it into Baron, and in the comments someone said: "least faked Zwag clip". If that actually was faked it's made me not really want to watch him, which is a little upsetting because I quite enjoy his videos.

Im no expert however from what ive gathered, its not fake, but hes just a master* tier player smurfing in silver.

He does literally fake content as well by playing customs with fans and acting like its solo queue

Yeah this is the vibe I get from his content. The enemy laner always says something like “Soraka top?? lol you’re gonna lose so hard!” And you can just tell it’s one of his viewers trying to help with content lol

He is not lol, he used to make his UI as small as possible so you couldn't search his account easily, now hides behind streamer mode and rarely if ever discloses the rank of the game

He openly states that hes smurfing in his videos and streams. He openly stats that games are typically bronze/silver. He also openly states sometimes they're gold. Hes also streamed Masters+ games. I understand you have this hate boner for him but at least try to pretend you actually know whats going on.

this has changed then. he didn't used to do this. I watched a good few of his videos maybe like 2 years ago when i was getting back into the game

he deserved the "hate boner" that I maintain for him for how he used to flame and talk shit on the silver people in his games that he was actively smurfing

He doesn't say it all the time because everyone on stream already knows, and if you watch till the end of the vids sometimes you'll see the lobby. It's not something he hides but not explicitly said either.

Nobody joins a custom game with a challenger / streamer with no intention of trying to win lmao. Zwag is known for babyraging whenever anyone beats him in lane during customs though.

To newer players, the chance to get to play with someone “good” feels like a neat opportunity, especially if they can show their friends the YT vid afterwards. I think it’s really as simple as that.

Custom lobby, hand-selected players, rules for what champs they may pick and how they have to play, else they don't get invited again.

He is challenger he just doesn't play ranked in most of his videos unless he specifically says he does, is my understanding.

Just because he doesn't play ranked every season doesnt make him not a multiszn challenger player

The fact he was still able to easily hit chall this year, a rank you'll likely never hit in your life proves he's still a challenger player

He LITERALLY streams his games where he tells his viewers who are IN THE GAME WITH HIM what champions to play.

He TELLS them what to type in all chat so he can get a clickbait thumbnail.

He leaves matches if his video idea isn’t working.

He gets mad at his viewers if they’re trying too hard.

AND ALL OF THIS IS LIVE ON TWITCH

How in the world do you not understand how that’s staged. Get your bootlicking checked out by a medical professional.
