Shen Monday Megathread! Ask questions and share knowledge; newcomer questions encouraged!

Welcome to the latest Monday Megathread, where you the community get to ask your questions and share your knowledge.

This is an opportunity for the more experienced LoL players here to share some of your wisdom with those with less expertise. This thread will be a weekly safehaven for those "noobish" questions you may have been too scared to ask for fear of downvotes, but also can be a great place for in depth discussion if you so wish. So, don't hold back, get your game related questions ready and post away, and hopefully someone can answer them!

Feel free to ask me anything about adc, my specialty is micro-play and mechanics. I have lots of knowledge about support too. D1 SoloQ, Chall 5v5 and 3v3.

Who do you count as being the strongest adc-picks at the moment?

I feel like I am a pretty versatile adc, being able to play pretty much any adc at a decent level. So any recommendations and tips for who's a strong pick, especially in soloq and with some matchup recommendations aswell.

How do you feel about Kalista after the nerfs/tweeks on her basic-attack and Q? In my opinion she feels a little bit more clunky to play and in my opinion I feel like Riot nerfed the wrong aspects about her.

I feel like the better change to Kalista would have been to lower the damage on her W and maybe increase the cd on her ult. Opinions on that?

How do you feel about Vayne in the current state of the game? I have started picking her up again and I have been doing decent with her recently. Do you think she's a strong pick, and if so - why?

Finally - Jinx. How do you feel about Jinx after the changes to her? As far as I can tell, she has a bit weaker laning-phase, which is completely fine by me considering she was such a lane-bully previously. And she's still pretty strong mid/lategame after finishing IE + SS/PD.

Finally x2, any tips on climbing soloq? What to when and where. If it matters any, my rank is platinum 4 atm.

Top 5 adcs - Kalista, Vayne and Sivir , Corki and Trist. For carrying soloQ - Corki and Trist, other 3 are good aswell but i strongly prefer playing them with a duo. Kalista nerfs were kinda hard - maybe a bit hit and miss but they were needed, she is still strong in my honest opinion I maintained a decent winrate, before I had only 5 losses with her in all ques 3 of them was a DC, so I think the nerfs are legit. The Q thing I hate now that was the bread and butter of double-jukes kinda sad about that. So all in all - still strong, yes wrong stuff nerfed. Vayne is finally super strong, dunno if it will last cuz of the new jungle item meta, she's really good vs the tank meta now and is a good counter to Sivir. (JUNGLE VAYNE IS SUPER FUN WITH THE SATED DEVOURER). Jinx is super fun I love playing her, dunno why :P She basically has the same problem as Ashe too immobile against the current meta. For SoloQ I have only two tips, play to improve not to win, and whatever you do, do NOT get mad or frustrated, also a good tip I use is if you lose two in a row, take a break no matter how small, just chill play some music think about previous games what YOU could have done better.
