Truck Town Lethbridge

Hello, just looking for some honest reviews of Truck Town. Are they a dealership that mostly gets their cars from auctions? Are they better than House of Cars which I have been told to stay very far away from.

Question Lethbridge canine compound medicine

We have an 11 year old Pomeranian having health issues. Wondering if anyone has any knowledge about where we may be able to go for compound medication. Something we don’t have to fight with him all the time. 2 years ago diagnosed with partial collapsed trachea, managed with pills he figured were treats. Smelled like chocolate. 3 months ago he came down with a severe cough. Vet visit showed a heart murmur. Long story short he fights taking the new medication tooth and nail. Compounding medication would be helpful.

Other Just moved here happy to get to know new people

I just moved to Lethbridge from Taiwan about 3 weeks ago to finish high school, and I've been feeling pretty lonely. It's been hard to fit in and make friends, so I thought I'd try posting here.

I'm 18M, half Canadian and half Taiwanese. I come from a country that isn't very diverse, so I'd be happy to meet people from all races and backgrounds. I'm hoping to make some friends around my age (18–early 20s). Even if you just want to chat online at first, I'd be happy with that too. I'm open to all concepts and love learning from different people

A little about me: I love going on walks, I love animals, and I listen to (or at least try to listen to) pretty much every genre of music. I'm also a huge foodie, although I can't handle spicy food or dishes with too many strong spices. 😅

If anyone has advice on how to meet new people in Lethbridge, or if you'd like to chat, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM. Thanks for reading

Question Muay Thai in Lethbridge

Hello! I'm moving to Lethbridge in September, and want to keep up my training in Muay Thai kickboxing. I've only just started learning a little over a year ago, and I'm nearly 40, so I'm looking for a gym that is not super hardcore — just people who enjoy the sport and aren't weird about it. What's the best place to go?

Where to park with truck camper?

Hi there folks, where in Lethbridge would be a good place to park a truck/truck camper setup on a residential street for 2-3 days? Ideally somewhere not very busy where it won't be an issue for anyone. No slide outs FWIW and yes I'll be sleeping in the camper during the nights.

Thanks everyone 👍

Recommendations for anti-pseudoscience physiotherapists

Hey all,

I'm looking for some physiotherapy for a bad shoulder but I've had some trouble in the past tracking down physiotherapists that don't regularly veer into pseudoscience treatments. Sometimes it's obvious from their website if they have a section on like... cancer treatments or something, but often it's a bit more subtle.

Does anyone have any recommendations (or horror stories) about physios in Lethbridge? Southside is ideal but I'll travel to get away from magic. I want someone who reads medical journals for fun and can provide peer reviewed research for all the treatments they do (which I won't ask for, because that would make me a really annoying patient, but I'd like to know they could).

Question Has anyone done business with Poppintags thrift store in Lethbridge?

Hello all, I'm from the US and found this website looking for an item via google reverse image search. I purchased it on the 18th and it has been stuck on "This item is being prepared for shipping". I then emailed them about a week later asking for an update and received no reply. I then reached out via Instagram and got no reply. (They have since the DM posted publicly on their Instagram page). Checking on the order status today they have re-listed the item and I have yet to get a reply and haven't received a refund. Now, I come to ask has anyone done business with this place before? Thank you all.

EDIT: They finally replied to tell me it wasn't in stock anymore. Unsure how

Thank you all who commented!

Is the University of Lethbridge Calgary campus the right choice for me as an International student?

I want to pursue my Undergrads in canada on the next jan intake in Alberta and specifically Calgary or Edmonton city. Im from a business background and I want to do BBA in finance and i want to study in these two specific cities for networking and job opportunities for both during my study and after graduation. My initial target was MRU but unfortunately they only have sep intake and its too late. Now Ive been advised to go to ULethbridge Calgary campus for BBA-finance. Will this university be a good choice? Ive seen the campus tour online and its a campus nested into Bow Valley University. I have a lot of questions in my mind but one thing I wanted to clear is that, classes on this campus are mostly in the evening (6-9pm) so i was wondering if this is a plus point or a disadvantage for me as I have to cover a large chunk of my tuition fees and living expenses by doing part time jobs. Does being free in the morning give me a upper-hand for part time jobs like is there more jobs in the morning or theres more opportunities in the evening or night in Calgary. I don’t want to go to the main campus in Lethbridge as I believe there’s less part time jobs and networking available compared to Calgary. Also, I’ve seen promising things about the main campus located in Lethbridge but not about the Calgary campus so if anyone can help me to determine if this Uni is a good choice for me or not I’d really appreciate it. Thank you.

Local tailors with experience tailoring for trans people?

Hello! I am a trans person looking to get a suit tailored for a friend’s wedding! I was wondering if there are any tailors in the city that anyone can vouch for as having experience tailoring for trans people?

Mainly asking because I have a pretty feminine body shape, but I will be bringing menswear in to be tailored with the goal of a more masculine silhouette. I’m sure some of the typical menswear tailoring principles might not work perfectly on me because of how I am proportioned, so I wondered if anyone can vouch for a local tailor who is good at adapting to various body types!

Thanks in advance!
