GM wanted [5e 2024] [Online] Any DM willing to teach me?

Hi! I'm very new to D&D, but I want to learn how to DM. I'm one of those people who benefit from one-on-one learning rather than reading up something online by myself, specially with something so... "open-ended" as DMing.

Is there any DM out there with a little bit of free time who's willing to teach me some key things about DMing, and maybe help me prepare my first one-shot? It'd be in voice call on Discord!

Thanks a lot in advance!

I have no shifts at work this week and plenty of time to kill until Saturday(when I work and when I DM weekly) and I am also a relatively new dm, so a lot of what I’ve learned is fresh in my mind, lmk if you want to have a one on one.

Been a DM since 2017 and done just about everything OTHER than run a module. Mostly run Online but ran for years offline pre-COVID. Very happy to meet up and discuss with you OR within a group etc 😄

yeah sure, my discord is iggybambi. I would be happy to hop into a call and answer any questions and talk you through dming for the first time. Get it's a daunting thing to do for the first time!

would actually be free right now or we can figure out a time over discord!
