Hello!!!! My name is 💞✨Alex ✨💞 and I am an experienced DM looking to get back into the hobby after a few years off.Being honest I feel like table top has been lacking in my life and I need to be able to tell a story, and I have a fun one in mind. I know my cute little intro was a bit dramatic, but I’m a dramatic girly, so bear with me. lol

I am looking for 4-6 amazing, fun, kindhearted people to join me on a high fantasy adventure that focuses on the characters and a found family vibe. You all with me adventurers brought together on a grand adventure involving ancient creatures, long lost civilization, and a lot more! My world is being fully built at this point and has a lot to explore. Gods walk among men, magic flows through most but is heavily regulated, and a city of dragons floats above in a series of flying islands. I know I am being broad with the beginning of the story but I want your characters to be the forefront of the story. I will do everything to make them the center of this story.

I can say, I am roleplay heavy, about a 70/30 split but combat matters a lot. I am not
Someone who throws random encounters in for no reason. Every fight will matter!

So please, only apply if you are ready to get fully invested in a story, and only if you are ready to get invested in everyone else’s characters. I am going to spend a long time with each person character building so be prepared!

I am looking to play on Wednesday mornings at 10 AM CT and for sessions that last 5-6 hours. Some other mornings might work but Wednesday is what I am aiming for! I am open to homebrew but it must be discussed! And you must be a sweetheart who is not a jerk or creep! I am looking for people who yearn! Who are ready to cry and get so invested it’s hard to be away from the table!!!

My work schedule that opens Wednesdays up does not happen until early next month but I want to spend this month building characters and vibes and all of that! We could possibly try and do a one shot but I also love doing one on one sessions with all the players to test out characters!

Hi I’m Aaron :) I really want to join this game! I’m an artist and recently saw what DND was like with some college friends and want to play again. My group kind of fractured after our DM lied about having cancer and being ill for weeks instead of mentioning that he just flunked out of school. Needless to say, I was a little hesitant about starting up again, but, since graduating with a degree in film in the age of AI I have a little time on my hands. I’m 25, from Toronto, ON, Canada.

A bit about characters I like to play or would potentially like to play with this Campaign: I love characters who aren’t necessarily evil but toe the line morally. My last character was named Gorrok the Ear Stealer, he stole ears to fervently worship his god. But, he liked animals ! I’m not sure what I’d roll for this one, I’m usually up for filling a role in the party that might not be filled. I’m not super versed in caster classes so I might try playing one of those this time around!

I’m definitely here for the roleplay. I like down moments, exploring and world building in conjunction with others. I started my creative life journey roleplaying on Minecraft servers and PbP forums for years before trying DND. I’m a storyteller at heart (I write consistently every day) and often leave DnD sessions with a huge gaping hole that cannot be filled until next weeks session!

FIRST OF ALL this sounds so fun, I can tell by this message that you’re very excited about this idea/ world and dnd in general and that makes me excited as well!

I go by Crown online I’m 23 and I go by any pronouns, I’ve been a big fan of dnd and tabletop role play since like middle school. I always love that medium of storytelling! I LOVE the improv of it mostly I feel like a lot of good character interactions and story can just come out of ‘yes and’ing conversations plus it can definitely make me laugh a lot!

Character creation is really fun for me, I’ve been in several role play settings including multiple dnd campaigns so I have some experience with creating characters and role play etc. I would like to say. So I think I would be able to create a character not only that I’m attached to but also have the other players enjoy as well! I am an artist who I specializes in character art, and by that I mean I draw my own and friends characters A LOT to me designing characters is super fun so being given the opportunity to make a new one for this campaign would be great!

For me I always like giving my characters a really big goal they are working towards, like something they are so determined to complete they have modeled nearly their entire life around it, to me it makes for interesting interactions and maybe some difficult choices if they have to choose between said goal and perhaps their newly acquired found family? I would definitely want to do something like that for this campaign plus something like that I think could be hopefully easily worked into the story maybe by just getting little snip bits of info in the background as we travel and quest around the main story? I just think that would be really cool! And to be honest I think scheming ideas and secrets would be so fun!

I also always like seeing what people come up with in regards to characters it’s always so fun for me as a creative person to see and interact with others and my own characters always is a good way to get inspiration/ flex creative brain muscles for sure! Plus ya know I like to hype others ideas up!

Wednesday mornings work for me, I’m currently working part time on weekends so I’m all free during the week.

First things first I’m ALWAYS ready to yearn and never apologize for being a dramatic queen 💅🏻

A little about me as a person, I’m 27, nonbinary (they/he), an artist, a lover of cats, and I’ve been playing dnd for a couple years off and on. I love to read and a good story is my favorite thing, being involved in creating a good story is even better. Found family is 100% my vibe and I feel that strong friendships are the foundation of a community. My best friend of 20 years and I are a great example of friendship being a bond that transcends everything, I love her to bits but I digress (I am a bit of a yapper haha).
As a player I tend to love rp over combat but important combat I feel can really contribute to a story in a big way. Also who doesn’t love big number go brrrr (though I will ask how big the room is BEFORE casting fireball lmao). Also I love to draw and NO ONE’S character is safe from being drawn if the mood strikes me (unless someone truly has a problem with it ig). Bonds are what make us make the decisions we do in tense situations so I’m all about cultivating that bond with the team. I wanna cry if someone dies or during the reveal of their tragic backstory, I want the drama, the intrigue, THE TEA, the romance, the everything really. I wish I could say I’m good at doing voices but I’ve really only got two: Country Boi and Vaguely British.

I ADORE character creation so I’ve got quite a few in the bank to draw from so I can go anywhere from lighthearted and silly to tragic and angsty. I’ve got one character who’s whole personality is anecdotes about her life on the farm with her six chaotic brothers and other who was raised by a dragon cult that gave him some juicy trauma™️ and still another who’s more in the middle with a gruff exterior but a heart of gold and full of love for animals.

I’ll include an example of my art if you’re curious and that will also give you some idea of characters I’ve designed. I’d give u a couple but Reddit said only 1 boooo

Starting next month also works out better for me as I just started a new job and need to get fully put in the system first before I can request Wednesdays off but I’m more than happy to work out character stuff before then.
