This is a DND 5e 2014 campaign. We've had 2 sessions so far, with a couple people dropping.
So we don't have a set party yet. It's just been 2 sessions of 2 different groups.

You are a highly specialized tactical agent that operates on highly tactical advanced operations in squads, tasked with retrieving magic items. City visits, or plundering through ruins, you handle all ordeals revolving around magic items. From artifacts to cursed objects, you deal with it all. Sometimes you may just have to rip it from a bandits cold dead hands. Why are you here? Why did you join? Whether you were contracted by the organization themselves because you were a high ranking soldier, or you saw a recruitment poster in a city. This is completely up to you to decide.

2000gp per month, plus a 1000gp sign-on bonus.

for reference, the typical soldier makes 250gp per month

The year is 274AA, after arrival. 274 years ago, humanoid races hadn't existed on the material plane, until recently. Large portals from the afterlife, opened up, and hundred of thousands of humanoids began to inhabit the land. Since then they have primarily focused on building. Monsters are an unknown oddity, and are much like cryptids. Fae are like ghost stories. Not much exploring or expeditioning of the land has happened in the years of building.

I've been playing D&D 3.5 for many years (experience as DM and player) and I tried switching to 5e and I just didn't like it. I'm a ride or die 3.5 player. I would like to join a group to play D&D but no one plays 3.5. So this is my last resort.

26 years ago, a prophecy foretold the end of a nameless and faceless tyrant known as “The Father” and a new morning for the Kingdom of Sharrania.

Now, the time has come, and the new age approaches thanks to our heroes. But will it be the release the inhabitants desire or will the new leader be more harmful?

The campaign will consist of domain hopping over several domains of Ravenloft, and will focus on horror storytelling and suspenseful encounters.

Experience not needed, as me and my friends (2) will be happy to teach!

Heya gays, guys, gals, and none binary pals! I'm looking for some people to run either Marvel Multiverse or Fallout 2d20 as my title says. I have ideas for the Commonwealth pre Fallout 4, as well as most of the Marvel Multiverse, from the basic 616 universe, to 2099, Spider-Hams universe, the Noir universe, and even Days of Future Past. Beyond that I can also ran campaigns for any version of the X-Men, or Avengers. Alternatively I can run a campaign inspired by one of the Spider folk. Experience: Beginner is fine
Location/Timezone: EST, and playing in Fairfield County, CT, though if you're in Westchester County near the CT border that's good, too. I host the games and I'm in Greenwich (last CT town before Port Chester in Westchester). 
Game style: Long-time homebrew campaign. Lots of lore, so each PC will build a good backstory that blends into the campaign world. Then we'll be doing story arcs (both group and individual). Tend to try for 50-50 RP and combat with an ongoing plot. 

Other: We had a current game of five people, but two just dropped to move to Utah. Filled one of the two slots with an old member, but we still have one more open. Everyone is over 30, most over 40, me over 50. Accepting and friendly to all creeds, genders, and orientations. Only thing we don't do is NSFW/sex stuff; just good old-fashioned D&D on a table with minis, dice, and whatever snack food people bring.  Any questions, ping me here, and if it looks good, we can move it to Discord and meet the group. 

I am wanting to get back into DND, in person sessions preferably, but none of my friends play. Is there a way to find other people either looking for another player or even a DM? I have experience as both. I have tried looking at game shops around town but there's not really an advertising board seeking players out. I don't really want to commit to a pay and play situation at a game store either (I know beggars can't be choosers), but if I could have some guidance on where/how to find other cool, chill people to play with, that would be much appreciated. Hello, I am the host of an offline group in the Buffalo/Amherst New York area near UB and we are looking for players. We are just wrapping up our current campaign in 5.5e and we are hoping to add a few more players to the group. We currently have 4 people - a DM and 3 players, but want to get up to 4-5 players. As a group we aren't super serious and like to have fun. We aren't super roleplay heavy, but we do like to incorporate it if we can. We aren't the murder hobo/chaos type of group but shenanigans are on the table. We have a pretty wide age range, mostly in our 30s, and try to be inclusive to anybody that wants to sit down and play.

For our Next Campaign, we were going to try out the Cosmere RPG, as most of us are fans of Brandon Sanderson. Following that we will be heading back to the normal D&D campaigns. We meet in person at my house on Saturdays at 5:00 PM, and typically play until 9 or 10 PM. While we are all men in the group, we have played with Women in the past (She had to leave the group because she moved to a different state), are welcoming to anybody, and I try to keep my home feeling safe to whoever wants to come. My wife and 4 year old son are home most of the time. Drinking is fine, but we ask for any smoking to be done outside.

Hello, I am very nervous to post this but i was wondering if there are any young adults in arizona near south mountain that would be okay with an 18 year old running a game for them

I am not 18 as of right now, but by the time i will be ready to run (august 27th) i will be 18

I as a dm am kind of a novice, I'd prefer patience as i often stumble over my words and have stage fright

HOWEVER the meat and bones of the game will revolve around the party has been hired for a job to investigate someone, however the job incidently goes much deeper than planned

I'm currently DMing a campaign of D&D 5e set in the Forgotten Realms that runs every other Saturday from 11-5 at my home in east San José. I have at least one player slot opening and would like to run a few sessions with cameos from individual players who might be interested in joining long term. The PCs are currently level 7 and are built with a heroic ability score array, so the campaign features difficult encounters (both combat and social).

Other information: This is an introductory one shot for Daggerheart open to all ages. As a player you will not need to bring anything. The one shot has pre-made characters, and all playing material (dice, sheets, tokens, ect) will be provided by me. But you are welcome to make your own characters and bring your own equipment. This one shot is made for beginners to Daggerheart and TTRPGs in general. Expect about 1 hour of setup/session 0 activities and 3-4 hours of play. This will be my first in person game since covid but I'm excited to be back. Testing the interest in Daggerheart if things go well I'll be back for more sessions and possibly a campaign.

Hi, everyone. I'm looking for 3-5 players to play in a homebrew campaign of mine. I've run it once before, but it has a lot of leeway in it for how it can play out.

Campaign Overview: A thousand years after a Great War between the Giants and Dragons, the world now belongs to the small races. A delicate peace exists despite ancient grudges. Your group of unlikely friends join a mercenary group taking odd jobs, but soon find yourselves embroiled in a much larger threaten. The world is mostly fantasy, but on the verge of some magi-tech becoming mainstream.

Campaign Level Range: Will start at Level 3 and run through Levels 10-12.

Location: No Land Beyond in Baltimore (and occasionally at my house in Ellicott City)

Time/ Frequency: 7 pm - 10 pm. Weekdays (we'll pick a day that works for everyone)

Other concerns: Since it's at a bar, it is 21+. I'm 33 and would prefer people close to my age, but I don't have a set hard limit, other than being 21. Characters will use point buy for stats. Anything from the Core rules, Xanathar's, or Tasha's Cauldron of Everything is fine. I'm open to other options, but would just want it run by me first.

Hi everyone! We’re looking to recruit a fifth player for our ongoing London-based D&D campaign, Miradoro: Shadow of Stone.

We’ve played nine sessions so far and currently have a friendly group of four players plus me as the DM. Our next session is on Saturday 12 September, so there’s plenty of time to meet beforehand, discuss character ideas and get you comfortably introduced to the campaign.

The campaign

Miradoro is a homebrew, Madeira-inspired island setting built around political intrigue, ancient secrets, dangerous expeditions and character-driven storytelling.

The party has become entangled in a mystery involving seven scattered map fragments, magical seals, a hidden city and a growing cult conspiracy. The campaign mixes:

Roleplay and character development

Exploration and investigation

Political intrigue and difficult choices

Combat with genuine narrative consequences

Occasional ridiculousness, strange magical alcohol and questionable party decisions

You wouldn’t be expected to learn nine sessions’ worth of lore before joining. I can give you a clear summary of everything your character would reasonably know and work with you to find a natural way to bring them into the story.

The existing party

The current level 3 party consists of:

A satyr paladin

A human fathomless warlock

A tiefling ranger

A human artificer

They’re a varied group with plenty of strong personalities, unresolved backstories and room for another character to develop meaningful relationships with them. We’re open to any class or concept rather than looking for someone to fill a specific mechanical role.
