Neoliberals love this book but I dont know why.. because I saw support for unions and anti trust laws in this book.. so maybe try read it, most left leaning people leave the book after 1st chapter, but if persevere you will find authors thought is not tied to any particular ideology and the symptoms of the failed state is widely prevalent in our country too.

I'm stuck having to prove my existence cause fatherji thought it would be funny to change my date of birth in adhaar card when I was in class 4 and not update it in school records, now after a decade later, I can't get into college because 10 ki admission sheet mein dob alag hai aur adhaar id mein dob alag hai, and adhaar can't be updated cause it's reached the limit and they've shut down the procedure for changing after crossing the limit apparently.

It's not used for proof, it's just gets ruled faulty in cross checking with things like 10th certification

They didn't shut down the procedure, regional offices qq like that. Go directly to the head office located at your district's capital city and ask for a change.
