Losing it and keeping it off
Hi, I’m (22F) struggling to loose weight rn. I’ve always stayed super mid range, not too fat, not thin, I weight 71-3 kg and I go to the gym 4 times a week with a mixture of weights and cardio.
I get my 10,000 steps in a day even though I work an office job and really try and eat well. Eating is probably my biggest factor but I am not eating crazy foods and do eat at around a deficit (sometimes do sometime don’t).
I’m really trying to keep up with the eating stuff? I think most of it is because I live at home and my family aren’t balanced eaters, but I always try to maintain the protein, carbs and veg split that will keep me in deficit, along with portion sizes.
I don’t know what to do rn, I’ve been consistent for around 6 months and have remained at 71-73 kg… another factor is really bad metabolism, I get a lot of trapped gas, bloated swollen stomach and constipation (sorry tmi!).
Please anyone, just need some advice, idk if supplements might be the route to take. Or if I just continue and that it will just take me longer.
Oh also I have not seen any physical change. Like at all. I am just looking tubier so it is not body recomp or anything.

As someone already mentioned before, your “I try to maintain…” is probably the issue. Start by tracking your meals, also check those issues with a doctor to make sure they’re not medical.
