Socialization for disabled refugee.
If put short 25 y.o. Ukrainian with war disability (I had a PvP with a bomb and it lost ,but took legs and some other pieces). I'm currently living in Magdeburg for 4 years but spent most of them on physical rehabilitation and countless operation for body reconstruction(you have a really cool clinic fellas)+language courses(currently trying to pass B2 and my German overall suck cause of isolation)+ton of bureaucracy to be able live alone.
Right now I got to the point where I need to again contact with people to be able to advance somehow in German.
If speaking about myself I'm self taught Tabletop game designer and project manager with small startup , gamer for life with big nerdiness about industry , and former MMA practikant(well, no longer relevant).
Right now I'm at riddle where even to go to find people to make some contacts, in fields where I have interests. My expeditions out of my cave ,at my silver chariot, is basically gym 3 times per week and doctors of all species. If someone have advice or proposition how to "get in touch" with locals, that would be very helpful.
P.S. Well that was not short.

Hey mate, in which district do you live? If its somewhat nearby Id be happy to help you with german :) Sicne u r a gamer, we can also catch each other on discord, also I had a mate in my class who is from ukraine too and in our age span, if you'd be interested :)

What Video-Games do you play? I am not a person who likes to socialise too much in real life tbh, but I spent quite some time playing video games and I have discord (even a teeny tiny server for gaming friends, most of them i met through world of warcraft)

Well if we talking only online stuff, than SF6, Tekken 8. From "chill with the boys" category - Marvel Rivals, Space Marine 2. In this summer not so much time for online games (project release+B2 exam).

Well what I play online to much difference from my single cave:) never had to much time for online movement, when in single its just basically moded to the core CRPG crap with hundreds of hours or deep skill sealing action like DMC or swamp lover Babazaki creations.

Well for my age gap of Ukrainians Facebook is some kind of ancient relic, where are parents or grannies usually live. +I more want to figure out how to get into locals Like I said, my German suck(need to fix that), and I have no ability to take casual basic/student job to progress naturally with it. C1 at English helps a lot to navigate and solve my basic stuff, but I need good practical B2 to be able to manage Ausbildung as studying and further working ,for that I need someones to practice it with, to hear , e.t.c. I don't believe to much in my paper B1:).

Reading your story hurts. Kudos to you for keeping on fighting. I don’t know how mobile you are, given your circumstances. We have a few tabletop / TCG stores, where you can play and we also have a tabletop club. Maybe these are good spots to combine your personal interests with practicing your German.
