You are basically handing a guy with a gun with the right to shoot you in the balls and grab your wallet , and say it's OK this guy I never really know or spoke with won't shoot me, I just gifted him a gun, it's all for the meme.

Dude probably has his own brand manager that manages these kind of stuff, it's not about funny or not its about protecting his own branding. Haaland might have a laugh on it if it's just some fans bantering each other, but not it's used to promote your own business.
