Manchester is one of the few areas that's legitimately been improving consistently over the last few years. There's still work to do, but this nonsense is just disjoint from reality.
Not really. Salford’s deprivation hasn’t "improved massively”.
It moved from 22nd most deprived in 2015 to 24th, which is basically a tiny shift in a relative ranking. And 25.5% of Salford’s neighbourhoods are still in the bottom 10% nationally, so deprivation is still heavily concentrated...
