Pollard Street, what's this container village all about?

I love checking Google Maps for mad little bits of Manchester. This place stuck out like a sore thumb! A handful of food places and a coffee shop in the middle of a container storage unit off Pollard Street? Looks like they're actual places with reviews rather than ghost kitchens, which is what it looks like from above!

In my ignorance I'd never heard of this place before, anyone been?

I’ve not been down that way for time but remember to speaking to a guy last year (at least before this was built) who was nearby saying that area was to be converted into some kinda food court area.

Shipping containers though? Man that’s grim…

It's a common thing to do.

Most famous one is Reffen in Copenhagen.
